1. It's right before the Bite Of '87; NES graphics were the norm back then.

True. But I thought the killer was a human, not a puppet. Then again it could've diguised itself as a human who used the golden Freddy suit rather than just golden Freddy.

It's gonna be awesome to watch though. But like I said I'm not sure if that last one counts. I know the puppet/marionette/mask thing probably does. It's not in the listed lineup but it does show up enough. iow there'd could be 11-12 but you only can chance the AI level on 10. The originals including golden Freddy and the new ones. So it'd be 20-20-20-20-20-20-20-20-20-20.

Someone on a stream I was in last night posted two pictures of that endoskeleton thing they found. I wonder what that's about also I read about Five Nights 2 being a prequel and the whole theory with the Puppet being the killer or a reincarnation of the killer.

It being a prequal was quite the twist actually. Before it was just rumor and thories, but then when someone beat the game and got the check, it's dated to 1987.

Anyone else getting terminator vibes from old Bonnie's appearance? Red eyes, creepy endoskelton face that's not completely torn off but still bare enough to be frightened, metallic, brokenish arm...

The more I'm playing this game the more I begin to like it. It's definitely way more intense than the previous game but that's also something that keeps pulling me back. Love the variety of the animatronics and the tension you feel wondering if you were fast enough putting on the mask when an animatronic enters your office.

 

This is an amazing sequel, I'll be busy for awhile trying to get through the nights.

Spoilers

 

The game actually has quite an interesting story if you pay attention closely enough. Also, despite the fact that many are FAR to quick to say that it is not so, there is absolutely no denying it. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is indeed a prequel and takes place during the murder of the five children and right before the bite of 1987. I will post more latter when i have the time.

I hate being startled. I'm easily startled when I don't know something's coming, and when I KNOW something's going to startle me (e.g. in a movie) I get this feeling of anticipation that isn't very fun. In other words: Jumpscares are not for me.

 

BUT! There is a side of me that enjoys reading about these things, because I'm kind of fascinated with them. "How can people do/stand these things?" "How do these people come up with these ideas?", etc. There's also a teeny tiny part of my brain that likes zalgo.

 

So I started reading into it because of Equestria Daily XP I saw the SFM video of a ponified "playthrough", with the mane six animatronics. I saw people commenting that 3:50 in the video was the only time they saw Twilight Sparkle and went "Oh crap!" So I went to 3:50, let it play for a few seconds and realized: Ohh crap you have to try not to wake them up! .....That's creepy.

Then I saw the comments about "Foxyjack" after the credits. I tried to find "her", and (with the video paused of course) clicked and clicked around the credits to try to find the right time. I finally landed on an extreme closeup of "her" face with just the barest portion of her eyes visible on the sides of the screen. My reaction was "Whoa, that's creepy!" *closes tab* *zalgo-brain clicks on* Ooh, that was interesti

 

I have now read a lot of the wiki for FNAF and FNAF 2, and concur that it's a pretty complicated game - ESPECIALLY 2. Jumpscares/fear factor aside, it seems to be very difficult, and one who is spacey shouldn't play if they expect to live through all the nights I was also pretty wowed at Bonnie and Chica twitching and mumbling, and the Phone Guy thing on Night 4, which speaks to that little zalgo-fascinated bit of my brain. (Actually, I started laughing at that phone guy bit out of incredulity )

 

So. Reading about it was fine. Seeing some of the pictures/gifs on the wiki was fine. But if I ever was presented with the opportunity to buy it, I'd go spend those 7 dollars on a cute little unicorn plushie or something. XD And if somehow I ever ended up facing the menu screen, I don't think I could bring myself to click whatever button is the Start button. And that's because of my hatred of being startled, the trickiness of how many times you have to check things, and just genuinely not wanting to actually play the game. (And don't even get me started on FNAF 2 - no way am I ever checking vents in my life!)

 

I don't think the game is SCARY necessarily; it would be to me and probably to a lot of other people because of the anticipation, the fear of jumpscares, etc. The main word I'd assign to it is CREEPY. Because that's what it is.

And really: Any game where you have to hear deadly animatronics singing and laughing, keep a door open to NOT get killed by a deadly animatronic, avoid being mistaken for an endoskeleton and stuffed into a metal wire-filled suit, listen to a phone guy being killed, and wait for a sign to change from saying "Sorry, out of order" to "IT'S ME", while all the while trying to save battery power which will kill you if it runs out...is nothing short of creepy. XP

 

 

So...I really only read all of this to satisfy that zalgo part of my brain, knowing now I'll never have to read it again. Also because I know it probably won't get into my dreams, since my dreams are usually unaffected by things that happen in the day. Now, however, it's midnight, and I'm officially up late. So once I post this, I'm going to go to bed, and when I stop getting notifications about this post (if I get any) I'll never think about FNAF again.

Interesting to know that you were interested by it. However its not scary to me thanks to MLP. Ever since hearing Giggle at the Ghosty nothing really scares me. Not even Eternal Darkness or FNAF.

This game really makes me want to be a night watch person at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. It's nice to see the animatronics just want to check and see if you are alright in your office. I'm sure the screaming and putting me into a suit is to make me feel more comfortable there.... wait a second....

Wow, I haven't posted in this thread, I don't think?

So, I have the first FNAF. Fave animatronic is Bonnie, and he also freaks me out the most. Got to night 4 and am too paranoid to keep going. Someone encourage me pls.

The second one looks phenomenal. I don't own it yet, but, gotta say, my fave animatronic from it is the new Bonnie. So cute, holy shit. If I was a night guard and he tried to attack me, I'd jump on his back, befriend him, and make him run around the pizzeria while carrying me on his back. (I haven't thought this through wtf r u talking about.)
