Sorry about all the empty promises and delays. Things came up and are keeping me from posting. I have a several hour car ride to New York tomorrow, which I might be able to post during, or at least work on one. I'm not sure. We'll see. Before next week ends for sure.

We need to get Astral Legend and Fire Sky paired, so I'm gonna try to write up an addition to the plot to hopefully bring in new players. It's pretty bare bones, so input from everyone is much appreciated, 'cause I need all the help I can get!

 

After all of the chaos Avarice wrought has left Equestria devastated. Three Princesses were now missing, as well as most of Equestria's strongest form of magic--the Rainbow Power. Faced let no other choice, Princess Celestia tracks down whatever trace of Avarice's dark magic to reopen a tear. She then hesitantly sends Rarity and Pinkie Pie to find their friends, along with the other Equestrians lost to the Dragon Pony's spells, not knowing what they'll find...

 

And that's all I have for the moment! As I said, everyone's input is appreciated!

Firstly, don't you think you're taking this a little personally? You're acting as if I attacked you instead of having my character react as I believe he would in that situation.

 

Secondly, look at it from others' perspectives, too. Not everyone will see Chrysalis the way you do.

 

Thirdly, this:

 

"Oh you know me very well my dear... i see it in your eyes. You feel my aura and it triggers something familiar to you. Do you want to say my name? Do you even believe i am who you think i am? Seriously, how is that anything but creepy? And you wonder why everyone's getting bad vibes off of Chrysalis. 

 

I would also question the thing about smelling pheromones. I don't think changelings are that insect-like. And how can Chrysalis magically tell that Aegis is male despite never meeting him before now and having nothing to go on for determining his gender?

Having things heat up right as I'm heading into work is always fun… Not at all!

 

I don't have much time, but I will say what I can:

 

I'm with Windbreaker on this one,Nios. Firstly, you really are taking this a little too personally. This is a roleplay; Windbreaker is not launching a personal attack against you!

 

Secondly, someone can very well get a bad vibe from someone else, be they human or not! Haven't you met a shady character? Even if they're hurt, they're still shady!

 

Thirdly, the way Chrysalis is acting and speaking isn't considered normal. Granted, she is a hammy, over-the-top villain in the show, but how is Ageis supposed to react with a response like Chrysalis'?? Add to that, she's not doing a very good job of hiding her identity…

 

I'm sorry this is a rushed answer, but that's how I feel!

Girls can have flat chests, you know. Or very small breasts that aren't very noticeable under clothing. To assume a person is male by that alone could be insulting... what if they actually were a female, but you thought them male because of the 'lack of breasts'!

Chrysalis doesn't know how much humans are different from hairless apes but she uses the differences she has with the twins.

 

Regardless i've retconed my posts to have her be hinted Aegis is pretending rather than knowing.

 

My post regarding Aegis response should in no way been have taken personally. I thought it was obvious. I was wrong.

 

I misunderstood the "bad vibes" you mentioned with you innately knowing who she is. I also tend to "not" get bad vibes of people, or at least not let them affect my judgement. I just didn't want to have a case of superficial judgement but this is up to each character. As Windbreaker said in his posts as Aegis he might have been exaggerating.

 

My post was only meant to explain the thought process behind my next post.

 

In adittion i confused those bad vibes with familiarity and i questioned if non-Canterlotians even know what she looked like. Still even the resident of Trottingham shouldn't all have gotten a glimpse of her form.

 

The above plus me not paying attention a bit ((i've been squeezing time to get these posts)) led to the "creepyness" of my post which i seeked and corrected.

 

With that being said i hope none holds me a grudge. I will try to be clearer and pay more attention next time. I will also proceed to read Aegis' profile as i didn't plan for meeting him and made some mistakes.

 

Last but not least i don't think my post referred in any way he was a brony. I thought she was just carefully observant of the sensed "bad vibes" of familiarity. I was wrong that and the name confusion. Thus i retconed it.

She tapped his shoulder in a "friendly" way, she was pitying him/her for being near her. Boy it must have scared them shitless, damn these ponies were paranoid. How did they even beat her? Been busy with work, so my replies are slow in coming... I should have a post up for the twins up soonish, though! After that, I'll work on a post for Colette!

 

Speaking of which, I'm gonna try and form a videogame compilation for her over the weekend, as that's what she does! Once in have it up, I'll mention everyone so they can have their characters watch when they get the chance!

Here are a few pointers from the OP as a reminder, as many of the Equestrian are going to need to prove themselves:

 

- Earth Ponies may not have wings or horns, but they all will posses unusually high strength and endurance. They can be capable of lifting small cars.

 

- Pegasai and Griffins are capable of running at incredible speeds, and they, along with Alicorns are still able manipulate and traverse fog. Pegasai are also able to withstand strong electrical currents for a time.

 

- Unicorns and Alicorns* may use their fingers in lieu of their horns to manipulate objects. Though weakened, an Alicorn's magic is still stronger than a Unicorn's.

 

We still need someone to play Pinkie Pie and Rarity.... Again, if anyone knows anyone who can play so the one, let 'em know!
