Hello everypony,
 
Do you want to explore the old ways of playing games again? The board has been set and anypony can Join in this PM-powered, mulltiplayer dungeon-game Simply Link your OC to this topic and a PM will be sent to you to get you started. You will be asked some questions before the actual dungeoning begins. This is to determine you character's abilities, stats, class and role in the dungeon. Once this is all answered your character will be placed on the board and this is what happens next:
 
You will be given a message-alert in the PM that you are on the dungeonboard and a story explaining what is around you will be put into the post. This is on a character-see-basis. Anything the character can't see, hear or feel won't be put in the story post. Under the post there will be some options stating how you can move. There are also basic commands you can use that aren't mentioned below the post. Such commands involve: engaging another player, utilizing items and creating oportunities, which will all be explained in the first message you get after registry. You will also be sent a file in which your info of the active character will be mentioned, please keep this close at hand every time you make a vital decision.
 
Once placed on the board you will begin with a standard set of items in the starting area of your race, which will be a city. Cities are non-agressive area's and movement through a city will be much faster than movement outside of the city. so be carefull when you leave you city, for dangers await, maybe even danger's you don't expect. Outside cities it will be possible to engage in fights with either creatures or other players. This will in some cases (questing, mercantile safety, etc.) be needed to progress in the game
 
This dungeon has a level system that depends on the way you have chosen you character to be in the preset questionsession. levelling goes by experience, which can be obtained through several means. You can gain experience in three type's of levelling. Questing, grinding monsters that roam the map or helping out other players with business (crafting, trading, learning, teaching). Experience gained in either of the three ways of levelling will also be influenced by the preset.
(Please know that the maximum level of this dungeon is 5 and that you will be sent to another map when that level is reached. Dont be fooled though, reaching that level will take you quite some time)

Manual on usage:

This dungeon is powered by commands. There are two ways of making a command, u can choose it from the story or from a list of general options. When you want to go further in your progress you usually pick commands from the dungeon , those are written between "< >". If you are doing anything outside of main storylines, like engaging players or using items in you inventory, you have a list of commnads  below:

"command/action + target" is the usual way to resolve this and is the "freewriting way to do things in the dungeon. (ex.: A player is standing next to you and you want to trade with him, type: Trade, <player name>") There is a command to check what action is legal.
This involves: engaging target, looking in your inventory, taking certain items from target when dead challenging player, writing letters (requires items), trading target, greeting target or using things in your possession.

Players of level 1 cannot leave the city untill they have either gained permission or levelled up to level 2, also when leaving the city, moving will be on a 4 hour cooldown instead of the one hour cooldown in the city.

When engaging in combat: You will be unable to move north, east, south or west and all freewriting commands will be disabled except using items you possess.you will be presented with commands in your story, this will include several ways to attack and flee.

When moving outside cities you'll only be moving on the roads. You can use the command: "explore surroundings  to get of the road and encounter creatures and alike more easily.

A justice system is in play that will make killing players (more than one level) lower than yourself turn bad. Your name will be put on the main thread with a killing reward for a pony killing you and will only be removed when you get killed as many times as you have unjustly killed yourself. when reaching 4 unjust kills, people will be able to be guided towards you location.

Here are the tags you can use in PM to get to know more about your options and info in detail:
@REQ skillsheet: have an updated version of your skillsheet sent to you
@REQ rulebook: have a link sent to you to view the rules of this dungeon
@REQ validity <name your action>: ask if a certain command can be executed in you character's position
@REQ Max level rules: Request the posibilities and rules for when you reach maximumlevel and the next dungeon is not ready yet
@REQ Exit: Request for your character and all it's information to be removed, giving room for somepony else to join the dungeon

Because I'd really rather sit out if this is some kind of cash-grab.

Sure, l take it he would be an earthpony, l would appreciate if you made an OC out of him, but it doesn't really matter

Time has been changed to GMT, this is to better accomodate worlds eastern participants. Please remeasure your timedifference so you won't be late. Also, l do not wish to delay the start of this dungeon, but l see l have more work on my hooves now than l thought. l will Scratch the time indication of starting and put a progression status up instead

Just a thing I want to throw out here:

 

If any of you peoples haz an OC that is friendly, I haz an idea for my OC to be a loner, but though a/some adventure(s), he realizes the value of a team. However, at first, he will be very aggressive, even to the point of threatening to kill.

 

Any takers to be Zamkin's friend?
