I have a local watering hole called the North Park Lounge. It's pretty much just bar food, but it's also a live music venue, and it's just a cool place to hang out on the weekends.

"Any chain restaurant."    Just kidding, my favorite is actually a local sushi place called Ichiban. It looks like nothing from the outside and isn't much fancier inside, but the food is excellent.

There is a local mexican restaurant where I live called Los Magueys and it is amazing oh god.. 

 

And there is a restaurant in Ponce, Puerto Rico called El Jibarazon and oh man its so die for.
