The Perceive ability is when someone is talking, you can see what they are saying, and they're body movements as they are doing it, you can see their habits.

I've been experimenting with a way to put the court record in a text format, and I think using spoilers to act as a 'menu' is a good way to do it. This is what I think it would probably look like. It's pretty much an experimental format at the moment, so let me know if something should be changed.

We're not going to be replicating the Strike system in any way, are we?

In the games, if you present the wrong evidence 5 times, it's game over, but I can't really see that applying here.

Nah, that doesn't really apply here. Perhaps the judge could become frustrated with one side for acting poorly or making bad arguments, but I see that as more of a simple interaction between characters instead of the actual strike system that can lead to a game over.

 

However, depending on what we come up with, we may decide Storm is guilty after all, but that will be at the conclusion of the RP when we've finished everything. It won't happen prematurely because one side presented bad evidence. Besides, we're partially making this up as we go along, so there are no wrong answers!

The idea is that we don't. We're going to come up with it during the RP. Maybe Storm really is guilty. Maybe it was actually Aero. Or perhaps the judge did it. However, I've been thinking about setting it up in a way that it's very plausible Aero was the culprit, and he's likely to be put under suspicion during the events of the trial, so the defense has someone else to accuse at first. After all, a weather focused pony like him would easily be able to get a dark cloud he can use to strike someone with lightning too.

I assure you I know as much as you do. I haven't PMed or been PMed by someone to discuss who the murderer is in private, and I don't plan to.

 

On the topic of the victim, how about this idea: It's someone closely related to the Wonderbolts, who Storm knows and looks up to? Storm's bio says he's a Wonderbolts fan, so this would be a good link between the two. Also, if the victim is involved in weather research, it would provide a good link between him and Aero too.

Some people really need to read earlier posts. If I remember correctly, my OC Night Blade, is one of the main Defense Attorneys in this RP do to the fact of his ability to see lies within someones soul.

Blue Moon might be the best OC to use. Your other OC seems a little too young to be involved in a trial. However, if you really want to use Clear Skies, I have no problem with that. After all, in AA Pearl was very young but she still helped Phoenix in his trials.

I strongly agree with this. I've had to repeat so many times that there are still positions available and I don't mind any position being filled up with multiple characters. If you had read through the previous posts, you should have seen me repeat this many times. 4 pages may be a lot, but please do read over it if you want to join.
