He got the glitter from the Crystal Cave since he was aware that his sister went there given he was covering for her. It was to give off the impression that Gaia Everfree had returned.

I've decided to watch all of the Equestria Girls movies in reverse chronological order. 

 

So, yesterday I watched Legends of Everfree & today I watched Friendship Games.

Well, I watched Legends of Everfree & I figured since I watched the fourth movie first, I might as well watch them in reverse order.

 

Now, I can watch Sunset Shimmer getting younger as the movies go on, haha.
