I don't do that. I handle it like a lady. Or if I get irritated, I just flip my hair and walk away. If they don't like MLP don't blow up!

Like bruh.

For the first couple years or so of pony being a "thing" I was very protective of it and its fans, I knew it was a very 'abnormal' thing to like, especially for adults, and I was a big white knight of the show itself, the whole community, and the very idea of it being okay to like things of such a good quality despite who you are or who the target audience of that thing may be.  I don't think I ever out-and-out "flamed" anyone, but I definitely had many arguments with people who seemed discomforted or put at unease in some way (or flat-out angry etc. of course too) by the whole concept.  If they plainly disliked it in a mature way, though, not minding that anyone else liked it, I generally didn't mind at all, though in the very early days even THAT made me feel a bit off because I felt they simply hadn't given it a good shake themselves yet and it made me kinda sad to see people so opposed to it lol.

These days though?  Well besides the fact that the community's so huge and full of such a wide variety of people, many of whom certainly don't deserve any kind of defending, I have mellowed out much more about the show itself (though I still do and always will love it to death) and how people feel about it, though I'd still recommend in a heartbeat people try it if they haven't yet.. and by this point I realize most everyone knows about the whole pony deal and have their opinions more or less set in stone, so y'know.

No. I have never "Flamed" anyone for disliking mlp. They have the right to like and dislike whatever they want. However, if they "flame" somepony else, who did nothing wrong, I will ask them to stop.

Would you like to play with me? I'd like to play with you, forever, and ever, and ever! No... no you can't have it! It's mine! Stay back!

No, but I didn't vote in the poll, because none of the reasons given apply 100% to me. If "dislike" simply means "not liking", then I couldn't care less what a specific person likes (I want the fandom to grow, but I don't care who joins and I definitely won't do something negative to someone for not becoming a fan). However, if someone were to directly hate on MLP fans, and especially if they were to claim to be "uncomfortable" around those of us who are fans of the show, I would not be afraid of calling them out. Saying that a guy who watches MLP is weird/sick/sad is equally as bad as saying a girl who watches football is weird/sick/sad, and the fact that some people in society see berating male bronies as acceptable but (correctly) see berating female football fans as demeaning is itself demeaning... after all, the former is based on the backwards idea that women are weak and nobody should want to be like them at all. Even worse are those who claim to dislike MLP fans because it's a kids' show... those haters' logic is very demeaning towards children for a very similar reason.

Yeah i have *raises hoof* but it was cause I was on a video and somepony said i was a "Fa--ot" for liking it because of my avatar. I took it personally for some reason lol but in the end I just was like "alright man, whatever" and bailed. It's different on the internet for me lol, like irl when I deck myself out in pony swagger i really don't mind the looks or a comment if it ever happens again but on the internet for some reason it intensifies my saltiness when I get attacked for no reason.

Never have, and I hope I never will. If I ever disrespect someone for how they feel about a cute cartoon involving pastel ponies, please slap me, as hard as you wish. >.<

All I really do is just ignore it and get on with my life. No need to get into some pointless argument.

In my opinion, there is no such thing as "Worst Pony". Everypony is awesome in their own way, and it is what makes them truly special. :)

No because that would be a silly, dumb, disrespectful, stupid thing to do. Plus, the day I hate on someone for not liking MLP is the day that I get 10 slaps across the face and an inbox full of accusations of paedophilia, bestiality, zooaphilia, plushaphilia, etc.

I'm not a medical expert, psychologist, psychiatrist, teacher or love doctor. Take my words with a pinch of salt, yeah?

I am an experienced cook, musician and care worker though, so that's something.

No, because getting pissy over someone not liking something is very irrational and childish.

I've never flamed anyone actually. I might try to inspire someone to watch mlp, but I'm not disrespectful of other's tastes.

Except my ex's taste in music. It was horrifying o-o

I flame my friends all the time when we hang out. I say they are weirdos and dumb for not liking the show. Then I spam text them art telling them if they dont like it then they are dumb...in much harsher words than that lol. Although, i dont think thats flaming since we are brothers practically and we do stuff like this to each other all the time.

I have flamed other people on Youtube and other sites for not liking the show. Mostly because they were being trolls and randomly hating things with no reason.

I ended up voting "Yes but only because they flamed me/another fan first", but I actually don't care if someone doesn't like the show. These were times someone bashed me just because I was a fan, but I clarified each time that I don't care if he/she doesn't like the show. However, for a while I would lose my shit if someone claimed there was a problem with me just because I like the show. The people I really can't stand are the ones that wish death on people just because of different tastes. Unfortunately this is more common then one would think, and there are both bronies and anti-bronies that do this. There are many people who will tell you they were trolling, and that they did it "for the lulz". I didn't know a good way to counter that, but now I see it as the equivalent of someone saying they did something because "yolo".

No, if someone just says that  he dislike MLP, that's not my bussiness, though I sometimes mess with haters, usually with  grammar, they're normaly bad with it  :P

Nahhh they don't have anything interesting to say why they dislike MLP anyway. It usually just ends at I don't like the show, it's childish, or it's girly. There isn't much to make a conversation about.

Since I usually avoid commenting on places like Youtube and Yahoo no I haven't had the chance to. Moreover, its natural at times to get angry, but I can't see myself hurdling insults at someone I disagree with, even if they themselves are very disagreeable, regardless if I'm a brony or not.

Besides doing so would be against the spirit of "love and tolerate" and as corny as that may sound by now, its probably one of the best ways to deal with those who  show hatred and contempt for you. The best way to resolve violence is to seek understanding of your enemy, and hopefully from there you may have a chance to reconcile.

Why in the hell would I flame someone for not liking what I like? I don't even give a shit if people hate on it. In my opinion the best defense is to not even give them the time of day.

First, I'm an almost-closet brony; no one except my brother knows that I'm a fan of MLP. (Why that is the case is a somewhat long and irrelevant story.)

Consequently, no one really talks to me about My Little Pony, so my vote is on what I would do.  I voted "No, because it's not the right thing to do."

People should be free to have hobbies and like media franchises and join fandoms, and also be free to not be interested in some or any of those things.

Aside from it just being rude to pester someone about their lack of interest in a show, it will tick them off and make bronies look bad.
