A lot of the cards were jacked to Hell and back. Remember how Ra in the show was doing nothing but getting dumped in the grave and revived? The actual card added the stipulation "Can't be Special Summoned"....Ra was fucked badly in the cards, to say the least.

 

As for XYZ and Synchro, they're annoying if a deck is just spamming them and bringing one out every 5 seconds, but overall, okay. But Pendulums, fuck Pendulums.

Basically, there are these things called Pendulum Zones, where you can put down Pendulum Monsters. Pendulum Monsters have scales and abilities which only activate while in the Pendulum Zone, though they can be summoned regularly. The huge problem is that what the scales do is allow you to Special Summon any amount of monsters from your hand whose levels fall in between that scale(Two Pendulums Required)

 

This can mean that you can see stuff like Three Blue-Eyes and two Red-Eyes Swarming the Field in an instant(Kaiba's wet dream), if the hand is correct. This also means XYZ and Synchro is ludicrously easy, as you can just use your Pendulum monsters as well as the things they summon. Thankfully, there aren't too many out right now, but in time, you can probably expect to see Obelisk the Tormentor being triple summoned from the hand to form Rank 10 XYZ

When they XYZ, I felt that it was becoming too complicated already and with these additions that I've now just heard of ... well ... Yu-Gi-Oh seems to be getting moreand more complicated every time I hear something new about it.

Not really, Torrential Tribute, Mirror Force, Giant Trap Hole, and Dark Hole fuck them over immensely, but the problem is that it's a huge shift in the game and so the whole thing is going to change gameplay immensely, stuff like Torrential and Dark Hole will probably be taken off the limited list with this development. 

 

In any case, did you plan to apply for the RP or not?

Hmm... This has sparked my interest. I won't give you a definite right now, but I may be able to make a neutral character or a Viral nurse character. Something that won't be too involved.

Not enough to be fatal but just enough to cause them major harm and pain. She is quick even though the slime that exudes off of her body masks what her actual body looks like.

Personality: She is cunning and smart enough to land herself in trouble when necessary. She will speak her mind and will almost always think of a slimy way to get out of situations and conflicts. She is stubborn and arrogant to a fault.

 

History: Being born in Perth, she isn't like other Australians as in she doesn't succumb to the stereotype of saying mate and G'Day all the time. Wandering through the street that her home was on, she had spotted a flier talking about a rally for a Ribose movement. She had heard about the war between Viral and Ribose, sure, but Ribose talked about things that made her cause seem relatable to Trixie. Finally seeking an opportunity, she followed the flyer's directions and joined to listen to what the movement had to say. Being convinced, she signed up and joined Ribose's side of the war. After Ribose saw what she looked like and what she did, Ribose agreed to let Trixie become a spy but at the price of accepting commands from sergeant and higher up.

Personality: Disciplined until he is angered. He fights when he is needed, and prefers to stay alone. He is not trusting of humans or gijinka, but is ashamed at how some gijinka and Pokemon act towards humans. He believes himself to be a superior choruses due to his training and status as a gijinka. His biggest downfall is that like other charizards, he will accept any challenge, ignoring his discipline.

History: Noda was born to a small family in the woods of a small Japanese town, being a charmander at the time,at he still did not show any signs if it until he was caught making a sure with his breath. His family, terrified, ran him out of the house at nine. Since then he had gone to school until he was discovered again at twelve. He was fighting another student during a kendo tournament and evolved upon defeating his opponent. His ears grew out like spikes, and still could pass as human, but he ran away for fear that everyone would judge him again. Having disappeared again, his friends went searching for him, not to attack but out of curiosity. He never found out and kept running until he found a house hidden by a massive lake. He took refuge under it, until he was caught. The man who owned the house was a samurott gijinka, and took him in. He stayed with him until he was 18, trying in swordsmanship and other martial arts, as well as the discipline required for them. Upon his final evolution at 18, he challenged his teacher, time see if he was finally ready to gain revenge by destroying the human civilization. He never beat him, not until he understood why the old man taught him. To this day, he avoids everyone he can, helping those in need. He still wishes for revenge, when he sees the effects of the war going on. A group of gijinka were attacking a human, a human who he had been friends with in school. While watching the gijinka saw him and commanded him to help them. Offended by the brutes words, he attacked, defeating the three weaker gijinka. When the human girl tried to thank him, he ignored her. It was an actually of kindness, not friendship that drove him, but now he must pick a side, Pokemon or human?

Well Eldrian is Neutral, but he's pretty much a "good guy". He's a wise and powerful elder, so if the Viral faction needs his help/guidance, he'll be happy to do so. He supports peace and equality, but he's also aware that sometimes a little war is needed to achieve that.

 

I made him neutral and minor because I won't have a lot of time for this, but I'm still interested in it.

He probably won't like either faction then. Viral is a slimy snake who resembles a nicer Starscream than anyone else. I was doing my best to balance out both Viral and Ribose's side so that while Ribose is committing atrocities, Viral is the more douchey of the two
