I'm assuming Whisper is just letting off some steam right now. I'm not sure what you are planning with that. Are we supposed to notice it or is she doing that privately?

Right then, I know the way Celestia is reacting to Wanderlust and Whisper seems kind of fake and lame, but I need to find some kind of way to get them into the RP. Let's just say Celestia has these 'hunches' that she knows if she can trust someone or not...

 

What Crowley and Whisper are doing will be roleplayed out privately, at a faster rate than the rest of this rolepaly so that Golden Shield can get back on track as soon as possible.

 

I hope you guys are statisfied with how everything is going up until now. :D Let me know if you want me to change anyting :3

If you are still accepting and don't have a problem with alicorn characters then I have 2. I am indecisive about two roles for each because they both could do either or.

They are brothers as a little side information. During this time they will have been in Ponyville for quite some time to establish some sort of reputation. Sunmane's being a friendly herbalist pony. Not really a doctor but able to cure many illnesses and heal injuries with some herbs and poultices.

 

Shadowknight is more of a mystery but is linked to Sunmane as his dark mysterious brother. He has been seen to fight off wild and dangerous creatures that have neared Ponyville but no one has really seen him due to his leafy cloak.

I'm afraid we're quite full in those RP now. We're no longer accepting. However, a long time from now this RP will advance into a new chapter. At that stage you might be able to join it, but it'll be a while before it gets to that...

Oh dear...

 

Ancient and powerful artifact, lost in the Crystal Mountains?

 

I always say that my characters timeline and adventures are permanent and canon to them (makes development more interesting) which means... Wish is likely going to think that she's going on a completely different adventure.

 

After all, a certain book was last seen there, along with a missing member of her family... XD

Maya and Luna are both in the library with everyone else, but in a different section-room-corner-thingy. You can choose whether or not your character is close enough to see and/or hear them, so it's fine~

Wanderlust and Whispers are healers too, though their talents lie with natural medicines, herbs and the like

Aww Whisper is getting completely ignored. I'll make sure to make Celestia introduce her properly in my next post :3

@@Driz,Personally i'd say he's a healer and would recognize the sounds of someone in pain or in need of help. It would fit him. And it would be a good time to know each other.

Maya is not really hurt, just in shock. It's fine to come help her, but don't turn it into an entire procedure. I'm sure that she has something very important to tell the others ;)

 

Good that you're taking the intiative in the caring aspect and 'medic' role of your character though! Later on when real injuries become a thing, these kind of reactions and quick actions are vital!

Just noting that Vrael said the Thief was teleported further up the mountain that Canterlot was built against. The crystal mountains are an entire seperate thing. You should definitely investigate there eventually. So don't misintepret what Maya just said! :P

 

Second note, Maya mentioned more than one thief, I think she meant more than one caster of the spell. Just sayin'


To everyone

I suggest that you all get going as soon as the contents of the book are revealed. We'be been in this disucssing situation for far too long now. It's time for some action!

So around tomorrow evening I'll advance the RP into the next stage. I hoe you guys are okay with that.

To all of you, my next post will describe you being ON the train TOWARDS the Crystal Empire. If there's anything you'd want to do before departing, do it now. You can describe what equipment you may want as a list in the OOC, and then ask for it as well in the RP thread. I'm giving you the chance to select your own inventory from a vast arsenal and stock of items, so if you post your list here, I'll assess it and then you'll know if you recieve those items. In the RP you can of course ask for things you wont recieve, but the OOC list thing is just to keep everything in order and neat.

 

If for some reason you all want to change the plan, now would be a good time to start screaming "HOLD ON JUST A SECOND!" But I think we're all set to go :)

I don't know how specific you want us to be, so i'll go overboard and be completely so. :P Wish carries a ton of stuff with her in her saddlebags, though a lot of it is likely useless. Yes, she always wanders around loaded up with all of this stuff. If there's anything that looks out of place though, just say - the only things that she would never be without are the letters, the weapons, the strips of cloth and the rope.

 

Documents:

- Old letters from before she left home. Notably, the letters her brother wrote to her before they lost contact.

- Several (cheap and identical) maps of Equestria.

- A few more specific maps of certain obscure areas.

- A couple of battered adventure story books - suitable for various ages.

- A (heavily annotated) book on myths and legends.

 

Consumables:

- Dried fruit preserved in honey.

- A couple of bottles of fresh water.

- An old-fashioned waterskin.

- Four apples.

 

Equipment:

- A length of good rope.

- A pouch containing some pieces of charcoal.

- The slungshot.

- The meteor hammer.

- Six loose strips of faded red sailcloth.

- A sharp piece of flint.

- Full plate mail.

Never quite forgotten.
