Canon VS Nikon ?

I've been seeing allot of amazing photos from Dslr cameras, so ive decided to buy one.

 

So which one is better canon or nikon?

 

The price doesn't matter

 

I just want a camera that gives all around great performance.

 

Great pictures and great video.

 

I mostly would be doing astrophotography and would be recording allot of videos.

Well 7 years too late, depending on what models they could be the same if I recall correctly. 

I've got both, but lean heavily on 35mm so probably not relevant to DSLRs, but I do tend to favor Canon and Kodak.

I've generally had better experience with Canon. Nikon works fine and is perfectly functional as well though.
