gaming The Frustrations of Gaming

I used to get angry at games A LOT. I would try and smash my controller and would swear at the game. I'm not like that anymore, but there are still some moments where I go 'What the hell was that!?', but it doesn't happen too often  :squee:

I don't tend to get frustrated with games. I'm regularly profane but not necessarily out of anger. I just happen to swear a lot when I play games whether it's a happy swear or a surprised swear.

The thing is that most games do not give me enough trouble to really get me frustrated and those that do I just stop playing if I'm having too much trouble. I don't care to redo things a million times if I'm not making any progress.

It'd probably be easier to keep track of the amount of times I don't curse and scream in frustration while playing a game, especially in cases when I've just spent the last half hour or more trying to get past the same spot and failing every time.

YES! I get so frustrated at games some times, especially when I find out that I am fighting off enemies that will continue respawning unless I move forward which, by the time I figure out what is going on, all my ammunition for my weapons and health is depleted.

Do you ever yell profanities when playing games? Like, when you get frustrated with someone for doing something you didn't want?

I do. I get frustrated with pokemon. I usually keep my swears to myself though. XD Usually, I get frustrated because a trainer or gym leader uses a stat-lowering/raising move or anything that hinders my ability to attack them. It frustrates me so much that I just... ugh.

So, what about you?

There's a reason I don't often record my multiplayer matches in games, and that my twitch and youtube are mainly single-player and/or co-op gaming.

Same here. In spite of my previous post I forgot to mention that I only really say anything when someone's watching me. When I'm playing alone I sit silently and play. Don't make a single sound.

My ex-girlfriend thought it was creepy that I didn't do much when I played. She raged like crazy when she played. lol

Maybe as a joking manner with friends, but as for legit angry yelling? Hell no, that's gross. Yelling of any kind, no matter who or what it's directed at, scares me (and causes me to have a panic attack and legit fear for my safety), so if you do it around me then that friendship is definitely over.
