Flyleaf are better

(To be honest I like both Paramore and Flyleaf)

Pfffttt....Muse? Really?

Might as well go off on why I hate them

1 - Their lead singer's high notes can sometimes really kill off all mood in their songs

2 - Some of their songs are beyond boring

3 - They just seem too much like a wannabe Radiohead in my mind

Lol I meant to reply to this yesterday but I forgot.

1. One of my friends likes Flyleaf, but I haven't listened to much of them, I only know one song.

2. I'm not a super huge Muse fan, as I find a lot of their songs a bit boring. I really like the song Knights of Cydonia though, it's frickin' amazing.

I haven't heard too much done by Flyleaf

But so far I've liked all of the songs that I've heard them do

And I find a lot of Muse's songs to be extremely boring

Knights of Cydonia was meh, it's not a bad song nor is it a good song

I didn't like Supermassive Black Hole, it was one of their boring ones

As well as Undisclosed Desires, which is the worst song they've ever done

The only songs that I'd consider putting on my music library that are by Muse

Are: Plug In Baby, MK Ultra, and Exogenesis Symphony: Part III

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm listening to Chevelle right now

So I'll just leave this here

Because I might as well

And when hardcore bands go soft

They can create some of the most beautiful songs

I know this isn't the best place to put a Converge song

But since it's more softer than their other stuff

I thought that I might as well leave it here

I've decided that this thread needs more Goth Rawk.

Bitches love Goth Rawk.

I could just arbitrarily post a couple of classics, but I'll just post these instead because buck da police yo.

Found a cool cover of the song Linoleum by NOFX, covered by the band Streetlight Manifesto.

This is ska not rock, waht r u doign stahp nao plz ur ruining the genre.

I digress, I love ska :3

I don't know why, but I've been listening to alot of Skillet, Glassjaw, Breaking Benjamin and The Black Keys. All of which aren't technically true rock, being alternative but I still love 'em.

And The Black Keys are just one of those bands you have to like. Their songs are pretty simple and straightforward but they're fun to play.

Skillet and Breaking Benjamin are awesome

I haven't heard a Glassjaw song yet

The Black Keys are quite good, but I'm not too big of a fan of them

New Alice in Chains:

I've loved their sound since I was a kid, though I only gradually began to understand their songs as I got older.  They'll be passing through Philly in a few months, and I hope to see them live for the first time.

I actually have loved Alice In Chains

Hollow is a favorite of mine

I really don't think that they've ever made a bad song yet

The first time I heard them was when I bought the

Black Gives Way To Blue CD, and then I started to listen to some of their older stuff

Both new AiC and old AiC are awesome

I know it's ska, but it's a cover of a punk rock song, so I figured I would put it in here.

I've heard a Black Keys song on the radio I think, they aren't really my thing.

As for Breaking Benjamin, I haven't heard a whole lot, but I like the song Diary of Jane

Listen to Dance With The Devil, Evil Angel, Breath, Blow Me Away

And then welcome yourself as a Breaking Benjamin fan

I never really did care for The Diary Of Jane

It was a pretty damn good song but just not as good as their other songs:

I went ahead and listened to them, they're not bad. Not sure if I'll listen to them more, but I probably will.

 Queen

Speaking of Queen, here's a couple of my favorite Queen songs:

Hahaha Dance With The Devil is my all time favorite Breaking Benjamin

Usually that one works when I try to turn someone into a Breaking Benjamin fan

Oh well, I still say that those Dance With The Devil and Evil Angel are my favorites

And anyways I'm listening to Radiohead right now

So I might as well post some stuff by them for the hell of it

Even though they are influenced by experimental electronic

There shouldn't be a problem with posting some of their stuff

First off, Avenged Sevenfold is technically metalcore, which is a genre of metal that takes large influences from punk.

Second off, FUCK YEAH VAN HALEN. They've got quite an attitude on stage, let me tell you. Lee Roth started cursing out everything because they hadn't turned on the air conditioner (it was fucking hot) until about 3/4 through their set. He got on the mic and said "I got a message for all of you people in charge of keeping this fucking place in line. If we didn't have that pussy shit this long, fuck you and your fucking air conditioner!"

What's your opinion on A Different Kind of Truth? Alot of their fans were upset because it's not like the "old school" Van Halen. Personally, I love it.

"Old school!?" Wtf is so different about it? They don't have Micheal Anthony? Big whoop that's only a 4th of the band lost

I personally love everything from van halen. From Running with the devil to Hot for Teacher to Love Walks in with Hagar (It added a nice twist) to She's the woman. Honestly, once you take out the brothers then you can forget about it, it's not van halen with out any of the van halen's

Overall Beats workin' is my all time favorite of this album,  and the rest of the album, It's pretty kick ass

Here's two songs from the opposite side of the spectrum, but they're both awesome

And "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd. It's a classic.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bpzxf_flm8M

Comfortably Numb was and still is one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs

Even though I thought that Dark Side of the Moon was a better album

Still, Comfortably Numb was such a nice song

The only Pink Floyd song that I don't care for too much was Another Brick In The Wall

Not that it was a terrible song, but still I didn't really care for it as much as others

But anyways LONG LIVE PINK FLOYD!!!!
