Mindless Obsessions

I have a habit of making sure I can explain everything I think about. Its kinda hard to describe. If I spend 10 minutes thinking about ponies, I'll spend 20 more minutes thinking about how I would explain everything I know about ponies to someone if they asked me about it. I even think of diagrams I would draw to explain things and run through possible conversations in my head. That goes for any of the myriad topics that I think about.

If I'm listening to one of my favorite songs, I WILL ALWAYS headbang. Typically in a specific way that matches the music too, and it looks incredibly obnoxious. :P It's also because I cannot for the life of me dance. So headbanging must do instead.

Also, if I'm playing music (esp. violin), I automatically sway back and forth, sometimes not even to the beat. It's not a bad thing, but once my teachers filmed a band concert (I play flute for kicks and giggles) and I was one out of two people swaying while they played. Somewhat embarrassing in that case, but IMO it adds more expression anyways XD

I can play a song from beginning to end in my head, every beat, word, sound, everything, from hearing the song 5 times.

If anyone, and I mean anyone, hates my little pony. They end up wishing they didn't. (They love it when I tell them what it's about)

I hate being in crowds over 5 people unless they're all bronies. Even then I feel very uncomfortable because I feel like I don't belong.

If I'm with anyone, do not bring in an animal. I could love that person to death but as soon as that animal (or pony (squee)) comes in, you can say goodbye to that attention. The animal is my top priority.

I guess that's it

My makeup has to be perfect.

:)

I get this, too! Especially with eyeliner and mascara!x (/(>.<)\)

I have many obsessions. I'll only post a few, tho.

1. I love the moon. It's something I can't avoid - that's why one of my favorite manga series is Sailor Moon. If I can see the moon from my window, I might stare at it literally for hours. So pretty...

(And that's also why Luna's one of my favorites.)

2. I don't have an issue with disorganization (I kinda have this mental map of my things) but I have this certain thing for mess. I freak out if I see, for example, a stain on my floor.

I love looking at the moon, too!x *-*

(Luna is also one of my favourites!) x3

I often catch myself staring off into space and listening to everything around me, not sure if that's an obsession though.

I kind of do the same!x But if I am having a bad day and I am not with friends, family, or my boiyfriend, and I'm in a busy place; I close my eyes and listen to everything around me, I love little snippets of conversation as people go by and take everything in!x

I have an odd obsession with questioning about everyone I see. As in, "I wonder where they are going", "I wonder what made them come to the exact place where I am in this second that made our paths crossed", "I wonder what they have been through in their lives". I do this a lot, be in cars driving, people walking, sitting, buying something from shops. (I know, it's a little weird, but I am so curious about others and love finding out everyone's depth. :( )

Me and my sister tend to be obsessed with giving everything a sob story then squeeing at it. Even inanimate objects at times. (/(>.<)\)

Cute things. Period.

I am sure there are more, but those are the more severe of obsessions. ._.

I can't put a small object in an empty container/bag of any sort if it's going to be the only thing there.

For example, I refuse to drop in a single scrap of paper into my backpack, I need at least two. Or pencils. Or whatever.

._.

Two more obsessions just came to mind.

The game. ...I just lost the game. Ever since my youngest sister told me of it, once I lose it, then I go into a spiral of losing it.

This?! I have never had any pony merch, but pleasepleaseplease can someone tell me where from? :(

I am so obsessed at looking at that picture since I saw it an hour ago. I will happily fall over everything in sight just so I get to use those!x

Have you ever had something that basicly became obsed with? Something that took over your life, that became the most important thing, every waking hour was spent with it. what is (was) your obsetion?

In my younger days during elementary school, it was Star Wars, during the heydays of the Prequel films. Played the games, read a crapload of comics, toys, you name it. The wait for Star Wars Episode III was probably the most anticipated film in my entire life for me.

I would skateboard nearly every waking hour back in high school. I'd often skateboard to and from school (3 miles), we didn't have lockers so a lot of the time I was walking around with board in tow, and I'd trick out at lunch time. When I got home, I'd throw down a boombox with some punk CD in it and skate for hours and hours. What an obsession that was.

For me, it was video games. I am still working on controlling it. At one point, my mom banned me from games for an entire week and I was pissed off. She even banned me from games and took my tv out of my room until I got this research paper done and I was furious.

I wouldn't exactly call it an obsession, but I really enjoyed watching college football when I was younger. Every waking instant on Saturdays was spent watching every game. I still love college football, but I'm not as dedicated as I was then.

I used to play football with my friends then too. Now, I never do.

Minecraft. Definitely Minecraft.

I don't think a day goes by when I don't think about it. And no, I'm not autistic.

(The running joke is that obsessive MC players are autistic. The Minecraft general thread on 4chan's /vg/ calls the game Autismblocks)

I have an odd obsession with baseballs... not the sport really... just the baseball itself.... I have no idea why... I really like baseballs.

On another note, I cant really say I have ever had an obsession with anything else in my life until very recently... Well... i worry that it is obsession, trying to calm myself down about it... its not important.

Not exactly "obsessed" but every time I find something fascinating (usually with the brain) I end up spending hours researching it. Its sort of an obsession, but nothing that is "the most important thing, every waking hour was spent with it"

Signature? Naw. Thats too mane stream.

Futbol. Its my life. I live and breathe it. I play it with my team daily or with a couple of friends or cousins. When it's not that, I'm watching it following my favorite teams and players religiously, and of course. playing FIFA

My Little Pony.

I draw pictures of them, I write music about them, I pose as a colorful equine on the internet, and best of all worst of all, my family and friends feed my obsession with MLP toys. I don't even ask for the stuff it just ends up here.

I'm being buried in ponies everypony everyone. It's going to take over my life.

Well sit down and let me tell you. ;)

Where do I start? When I was around 5 or 6 I was obsessed with Spongebob. If I wasn't watching Spongebob I wasn't happy.

When I got a bit older I was obsessed with card games. Yu Gi Oh mostly. If I wasn't duelling I wasn't happy.

When I was a bit older still I was obsessed with money and shopping. If I wasn't buying new stuff, you guessed it, I wasn't happy.

There were a few others but those were some majors, and of course they all passed. My current obsession?

DUBSTEP!

The only music I listen to any more is dubstep. Anything else I'm just not content listening to. Dubstep is a part of my life now. ;)

Pokemon, Zelda, Metroid, Naruto, Dragon Ball/Z, Teen Titans, Runescape, Super Smash Bros

And I'm still pretty obsessed with all of them. Except Runescape, that game is terrible now.

Finding a man who wronged me back in Russia became my obsession from late 2006 until 2009.

I tried to track him down for years, but had no luck in finding him. The elusive bastard is either still alive, dead, or in prison by now though.

Luckily I've given up my pursuit of him for the better, I'd still be the depressed, violent man I was during those years.

Now I got me some ponies to cheer me up!!

This one might be a bit weird, or maybe normal considering my age, but I think I'm obsessed with talking to girls. It's not something I can recreate by talking with my closer guy-friends. There's always this thrill when talking to a girl that boosts my self-confidence loads.

Either that, or I'm just the attention whore I know I am XD
