He is a diehard Christian, my whole family is (I'd get in big trouble for being an agnostic) he claims he isn't homophobic, yet a threat like that has me skeptical.

That is why I am moving out the moment I get to.

That's really serious. I'd be so afraid if I had your dad o_O

I got grounded for 3 days for calling my mom a n***** (3 days is apparently a lot for my family). Funny how I had only 9 in English at one point last year (Out of 100 points) and my parents, even though they were mad, didn't take away anything at all. I'm starting to think I'm extremely spoiled, and I can think my grandma for that :).

Actually, my punishments were more intense when I was a kid, but now I'm living the sweet life (Even though my elders make threats, they don't ever really keep 'em :P).

Speaking of threats, my grandpa once threatened to throw me off a train when I was 9  ... :( . Of course, he has a pretty bad temper when cranky due to sleep deprivation (Why he doesn't take therapy, I will never know  ). Thats really the worst threat I've ever had.

Compared to everyone on this thread, or anyone IRL, I get really lucky and I get almost no punishments at all, even with some of the crap I do sometimes :D .

I poured a glass of milk down the sink cause I didn't want to drink it >_>

I got beaten for that, no joke >.< Never again...

I do that almost all the time and mah parents couldn't care less. It must really suck to have parents like that (No offense if you love them, but that would piss me off everyday if they're like that http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png) Edited by akimBrony

Oh where do I start with all the trouble I've gotten into...

I think the funniest one I have was a few months ago. I was doing some stuff for an art project that was due the next day, but passed out in the process at around four in the morning. When morning came, my parents went down to see why I wasn't upstairs getting ready and saw me passed out in the middle of the hallway, hugging a monitor and motherboard, and also in my underwear for a reason I can't remember.

I have some actually terrible things, but maybe the internet's not the best place to share.

Oh wait, dang it I just noticed the title was the biggest thing. Umm, well I'm kind of being the most lazy person on the planet right now in school and am getting straight F's in everything other than Art, Paramedical Biology, and AP psychology. I personally don't care because I'm going to community college due to financial issues, but my parents are now reluctant to provide any money for me. Not the same kind of punishment as getting grounded, but not having any money stinks.

I've had a lot of fights with my parents about my general laziness and lack of motivation towards stuff I don't wanna do. The last time was when my mum caught me with my lappy at like 1 in the morning and she had a meltdown and took it away for nearly 3 weeks :(

i know exactly how you feel man..

The worst trouble I've gotten in with my parents is letting my grades drop. They're really strict, or at least my mom is, and when she gets mad it isn't pretty. My dad's more easygoing and "ehh, whatever" though.

Stole 1000$ from them and spent them on tons of worthless stuff.

Also destroyed a neighboors car in third grade including some of the windows at their house.

I'm really glad I'm not like that anymore >_>..

Tabs/programs I had open when my dad walked into my room at 3am and took my laptop cus I was staying up too late on it. (3am is a bit much since I have to wake at 6:30am xD)

Thank god he never opened the laptop, or I'd be dead now. I now have a very complicated password and use CCleaner to remove my history. o3o

I seriously can't remember any instances of me getting grounded/punished

My parents are fairly easygoing, although my mom gets pissy when my grades drop... She's threatened to take away my computer before because of it, but she never did

That is pure, uncut child abuse and is consequently revolting. I hope they don't do that to you anymore, and if they do ever beat you again, report them to the authorities. Nopony should have to grow up and deal with such brutality.

@JustinnDaJokaR

It is good to know that you got away from that abusive heap of vomit. Hopefully things are going well between you and your real father.

I believe the worst that happended regarding me was getting grounded for several weeks after getting in school suspension for one day due to pulling some pranks when I was in high school.

  • 2 weeks later...

Well I constantly got caught smoking by my mom. And then there were the couple of years in High School where I was bucking around and wasn't keeping my grades up.

BUT the biggest was the summer after my freshman year.

I was spending the night at my friend Chad's house. We decided to sneak out at like 3AM and go walking around town. Well eventually a cop saw us, and our dumb asses decided to run, and we eventually stopped. We could have gotten evading/obstruction of justice from running from them, but we only got curfew violations. They also though we were high. And they determined this by telling us to tilt our head back, look up, and then proceeded to shine a VERY bright flashlight in our eyes. After the cop did that he somehow determined that I was smokin the reefer. Both sets of parents drug tested us and it was clean.

He served his in "normal" court for some reason, basically getting away scott free, but I had to go to Teen Court. My punishment was 25 community action points, and I had to sit on three makeshift teen juries. The action points consisted of writing and apology letter to my parents, making posters, and then I read to some kindergartners too. That was probably the biggest trouble I have been in.

i have two

first: I almost killed my parents best friend

second:killed him again but then didnt kill him

Confusing i know

I lost my mom's credit card at Taco Bell....I found it luckily the employee's had found it and were waiting for us to come back for it...But man did my mom shriek. Loudly.

But the worst trouble for me? When I told my dad a quick lie around Christmas about some packages I was sending out..I panicked and when I told my mom she yelled at me infront of my best friend for almost twenty minutes and told me to shut up every time I tried to apologize and she even told me: "YOU AND YOUR DAD ARE SO SENSITIVE I CAN'T EVEN SAY MY OPINION! GOD!" And sent my friend inside the store we were going to and she screamed at me more. I was so upset that when my friend tried to comfort me I actually flinched when she put her arm around me and told her not to infront of my mom. Just remembering it I wanna cry.

I actuall did wind up crying in the middle of the store when the woman asked me if we were 'okay'...It wasn't. She humilliated me because she didn't want my dad to yell at her.

Yeah we got over that incident and she now makes sure I know to let her know if she's going as we put it (excuse the french): "Psycho bitch."...It still hurt more then getting smacked probably would have emotionally since it felt like my mom's life would have been so much better if I never existed from how she put it.

But it's much better now...I'm okay now and so's she....But yeah actual trouble that wasn't brought on by stress? Yeah losing the credit card. Not even my dog accidentily getting loose tops that.
