"Yeah I learned a few things over the years especially when i visited the apple family boy now that's one family you don't want to mess with" he chuckles as he wipes the sweat off with his hoof.

Seth blinked, looking at the piles of ash. "What in the hay...??" He looked at her. "I'm going to go see what's going on," he said before giving her a quick kiss and walking inside.

 

Lunar blinked, hearing the scream. "What the-?!" She raced to the source of the scream, seeing Novel and Seth. "What's wrong???"

 

Luna sighed, watching her go. "She's becoming more like you every day, Flair," she said with a laugh.

 

Celestia shrugged. "I know who he is. He'll make a very formitable ally. Just watch him and Steel closely. Them two together is sure to bring trouble somehow..." she ordered, sighing.

 

Midnight walked into the castle, sighing. She decided to come back to the castle instead of waiting for Tsuki. :Wonder if it's dinner time yet..." she thought aloud, her stomach growling.

Grell heard the scream and laughed "sounds like somepony found the result of my skirmish" grell said he looked at flair then At lunar "so when's dinner " grell asked his hoof twitching a little bit

Steel seen the twitch " I think it's soon grell" steel said

Novel stood for a little while, unable to move away from the sight before dashing in after Seth "seth no!". She's not a helpless mare and she knows how to fight, she did not appreciate being left behind "i will not stand here by myself while you trott off!" She yells, "and especially when you're carrying my bag!" Novel will admit, the sight made her a bit nauseous but she has to get over it and not get sick

Lightning flair chuckles watching lunar take off in a flash over the scream. "Yup i agree" He chuckles more as he sits down next to luna. "So mom, how where things while i was away for so long?" He asked relaxing after working as hard as he did. He looks up at her. he figured hell check things out if lunar needs his help.

Chronos nodded and said "yes your majesty." He decided that Celestia probably wanted some time alone for now. He turn around started to walk back to where the others were. He was starting to wonder what that pony said, someone who lives outside of time

Seth blinked, stopping. He almost forgot he had her bag. He looked at her. "I'm sorry, love..." He nuzzled her, hoping she'd forgive him. He noticed Lunar. "Why are there dead guards???"

 

Lunar sighed. "We had a bit of a scence while you guys were gone. It's fine now."

 

Celestia looked at Chronos. "Please don't go..." she said softly. She knew from years of Chronos being her most faithful and loyal fighter, that he could comfort her.

 

Luna thought for a moment. "Not much, really, besides the war..."

 

Midnight walked to the dinning hall.

Novel looked sick, like she was going to faint. She wobbled on her hooves and teeters. "B-but but why?" She closes her eyes And breathes slowly "wh-who did this?" She whines and leans into Seth, really feeling woozy. With her eyes still shut she says "I-i found some books that may be useful"

Grell sighed "well let's head that way then"grell said steel nodded grell and steel walked past Luna and flair

grell twitched again as he walked -it's getting stronger- grell thought as they walked as they passed the piles of what was once the guards they didn't stop in fact they walked through the ash

Seth blinked, holding her. He held her close, stroking her mane.

 

Lunar sighed. "We had a new pony join our army, but there was a bit of confusion when he first arrived. The guards tried attacking him, and he responded in self defense." She blinked, noticing Novel. "A-are you alright?"

 

Midnight blinked, seeing Steel and the new pony. She walked up to them. "H-hello, Steel... W-who is this...?" she asked with a small smile.

"That's it?" He asked looking at the work he's done. "Nothing special ever happens here" he stands up as he brushes himself off. "And mom I'm afraid if I teleport on the concrete I might crack and destroy it" he told her. "Then I would be in worse trouble then I am now" he laughs

Luna sighed. "That may be true that you would crack it, but concrete is easier to replace than grass and flowers," she pointed out, flicking dirt off her tail. "You would not get in trouble, either, because that's where I've told you to teleport for how many years now?"

"Ummm 200 but to be fair ive been gone off and on and I'm so glad I get to finally make it home that I forget" he replies to her question as he looks at her. "And you know as well as I, I forget to even write sometimes because I was always so busy" he says with a small smile.

Steel looked at midnight "this is a new recruit" steel said

Grell looked at her -she's cute- Greek thought he pulled his hood down and removed his cloak his coat was a pure white and he had a crimson mane and his eyes where the color of dried blood he flashed a smile " I'm grell" he said

Midnight blinked, blushing. "O-oh... H-hello. I-I'm Midnight Shine... I-I'm Celestia's student...." she said, blushing more with a shy smile.

 

Luna sighed. "I know, but you could at least attempt to respond to the letters I send you," she said with a huff, nuzzling him. "I'm just glad your safe and home now... I missed you so much, son..." She held him close to her.

He blushes a little embaressed as he hugs her back. "I missed you too mom" he replies and chuckles. "I've saved all your letters by the way I always teleported them to my room when it storms" he admitted as he was held by his mother. "And on the bright side of things looks like I won't have to leave again anytime soon, it sucks but I have to step into the role of royalty and you know I hate that" he chuckles

Grell smiled "we're heading to the mess hall would you like to join us" grell asked still smiling

Steel sighed - well I guess grell liking somepony would be fine because of his gift - steel thought he was getting board fast he was ready to fight this war

Midnight blinked, her stomach growling. She blushed, smiling sheepishly. "I-I would love to..." she said with a nervous laugh, rubbing the back of her neck. "Th-the other troops should be filing in soon..."

 

Lunar sighed. "It's alright now. We calmed the situation rather fast. Now, time to go eat," she said, leading them to the dining hall.

 

Seth sighed, holding Novel in his forelegs bridal style, opening his wings and following. He wanted to know more, but that's all he'd get out of her for now.

 

Luna smiled, nodding. "I know, hun. But hopefully we'll nab this tyrant once and for all then all will be peaceful again..." She let him go. "But now it's time to go eat. I'm sure your hungry."

 

Celestia blinked, looking at the time. She looked at Chronos. "It's almost dinner time. Care escorting a mare to the dining hall?" she said with a giggle, smiling at him.

Chronos stopped and returned "did you say something your majesty?" He asked. He was sure she said something. He took of his helmet to make sure he hears her correctly this time. He guessed in his head what he heard just in case it wasn't her. All he could make out was please. He then heard her request to escort her, "it would be an honor" he replied

Midnight smiled, blushing. She began walking to the dining hall, wondering what was going to be for dinner tonight.

 

Lunar was walking into the dining hall as Steel got close. The holy sword glinted in the light momentarily as she trotted in; she wasn't aware he was walking up.

 

Celestia smiled, getting up out of her bed and stretching, using her magic to put her crown back on. She trotted over to him, standing beside him. "I'm glad you've been my most loyal and faithful soldier all this time..." she mused.

 

Luna walked back inside, heading to the dining hall.

 

Seth continued to fly to the dining hall. He flew in, carefully sitting Novel in a seat. "Are you alright, Novel? Can you still eat?" he asked, concern in his eyes. He took her backpack off him and set it down beside her.

Steel seen lunar he flew iver to her landing by her "hey lunar I got something for you" steel said pulling out a sword in a sheath he held it out to her "here"

Grell smiled following her twitching again as a little sweat formed in his brow he hopped midnight wouldn't notice

Chronos put on his helmet and looked at her "I am glad to have served you for so many years and I wish to serve for many more years to come..." He said. He smiled at her, even though she couldn't see his smile under his helmet. He held open the door for Celestial and said "Mares first"

Lightning flair nodded as he gets up. "Yeah after all this hard work it sure worked up an appetite" he stretches as he followed Luna. *crap a lot of new ponies hasn't seen me before I'm doomed* "mother, do I even have a crown?" He asked walking with her to the dinning hall.
