Novel smiles and scoots over a bit, allowing for him to hop up. She yawns, awfully tired from the day's activities. Novel snuggles up beside Seth, sleeply. There is a smile on her face as she looks up at him, happy to have somepony by her side for a change. With that she knows she will sleep soundly.

Seth wrapped her up in his strong legs, holding her close. He smiled, kissing her cheek.

 

Luna nodded, looking back at the map. "Is it legit, sister?"

 

Celestia opened her eyes as her horn stopped glowing. "Yes. It is a recent map," she confirmed, smiling brightly.

Novel would kiss Seth lightly on the cheek "goodnight Seth" she would whisper, nuzzling into his strong body. He was nice and toasty, and the heat made Novel drowsy. She could feel herself drifting into sleep, a smile on her face. With that she would fall into a deep and peaceful sleep

Steel was surprised but wasn't knocked back by the tackle kiss he caught lunar and kissed back wrappinh his forelegs around her pulling her closer

Grell smiled "I'd love to midnight". Grell said finishing his scythe and putting it up "anyways I'm done"

Seth smiled, stroking her mane as she fell to sleep. He fell asleep soon after.

 

Lunar parted from the kiss, looking at him, her face still red.

 

Midnight blushed, smiling. "F-follow me, then..." she said, heading for the door. She opened the door and walked out, waiting for Grell.

Steel smiled and laid down pulling her close "it's getting late lunar we should get some sleep" steel said

Grell followed midnight -now then I'll have to be carful that what I really am isn't found out I know steel won't say anything but of anypony else finds out it could be very dangerous- grell thought

Lunar nodded, snuggling close to him. She laid her head on his chest, closing her eyes. She fell asleep rather fast.

 

Midnight walked down the hall, coming to a door. She smiled shyly, opening the door and walking in. "Welcome to my 'home'," she giggled, trotting over to her closet.

Chronos smiled as he put back on his helmet. He look at Celestia and said "Yep Victory is certain as long as Sombra doesn't know about these passages. If he does then he would probably have the entrances and exits to them guarded , but hopefully nothing we can't handle..." He said.

Steel smiled as she fell asleep on his chest he smiled glad he was used to sleeping with his blades on him

Grell followed smiling he walked over to midnights bed he pulled out a bed roll form his bag and laid it on the ground by her bed -after all I am gentlecolt-grell thought

Midnight blinked. "Y-you don't have to sleep on the floor. Y-you can sleep with me," she said, blushing.

 

Lunar was sound asleep.

 

Luna nodded, yawning. "I think we are going to retire for the night. Good night everypony," she said, walking out.

 

Celestia nodded, holding back a yawn. "I think it is time for us to get some rest too, my dear Chronos. You know more than anypony how valuable rest is before battle," she said, grabbing Novel's books. "I say we return these to Novel, then head off to bed."

Grell nodded "you sure midnight I don't mind really i wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable" grell said

Steel sighed stroking lunars mane lightly as he drifted off to sleep he was A very light sleeper because of his training so any noise would wake him

Midnight nodded, blushing more. "It's alright. I...kind of want you too..." she admitted, looking down. She climbed up into bed, yawning.

 

Lunar was asleep, her ears twitching every once in a while. She loved having somepony to curl up next to at night - in general, actually.

Grell nodded and put his bedroll away and put his cloak up tossing his saddle bags to the ground midnight could now see the many scars crisscrossing his body some from battle others from shoty medical help on the battlefield he climbed up into bed lying beside Her

Lightning flair sighed he was listening this hole time *what if it's a trap?* his mind races as he gets up and takes a look at the map he grits his teeth. *this looks too good to be true* races through his mind as he smiles at flux. "Well I'm going to head to bed" he tells her as he walks down the hallways puts his horn against the wall and disappears behind a disappearing door and into his room and lays down for the rest of the night

Chronos nodded and yawned "Yes, I shall be retiring to my quarters. Good night your majesties. " Chronos said before leaving the dining hall and going to his room. He enter it and closed the door before putting his helmet on the nightstand and falling on the bed. He didn't even take off his armor or put the sheets over him, he just closed his eyes.

Midnight blinked, looking at his body. She looked back up at his face, then kissed his cheek. She snuggled close to him, blushing madly.

 

Luna went into her room and shut the door. She set her crown on the nightstand, flopping into bed.

 

Celestia, books and all, walked to Novel's room. She quietly opened the door and set the books down on her nightstand. She smiled, noticing her and Seth sleeping soundly. She then walked out, carefully shut the door, and began walking to her room.

Novel's ears twitched at the sounds but nothing more. Novel could hear the hoovesteps and movement but brushed it off her her sleep. She is a very light sleeper but can ignore sounds if she so chooses, that and she feels very safe in the castle, knowing she has a guard right beside her.

Grell smiled wrapping his foreleg around her he nuzzled her he was glad she didn't say something about his numorus scars he had to many he oh looked twenty but his scars spoke of many many years fighting in fact he had yo many scars for a pony his age or thatof one even twice his age

Midnight yawned, snuggling close. "Goodnight...Grell..." she mumbled, drifting off to sleep.

 

Seth woke up, noticing Celestia leave. He was puzzled. Why did she just come into the room? He shrugged it off, holding her close and drifting back off to sleep.

 

Luna pulled the covers over her, yawning. She then looked out her window, which had a perfect view of her full moon. She smiled and said, "Goodnight my gorgeous moon..."

 

Celestia walked into her room and sighed, taking her crown off and climbing up into bed.

Grell smiled as she fell asleep on him -I swear on all that I am I will protect you- grell though this body taking on a very faint shimmer that faded after a few seconds

 

Leif evergreen was in the outskirts of the crystal empire moving a group of refugees out under the cover of night

Midnight was sound asleep. She was smiling slightly in her sleep.

 

Celestia curled up in bed, drifting off to sleep. She knew she would have to get up much earlier than everypony to rise the sun.

 

Luna sighed, the loneliness she felt crossing her face. She hugged a pillow, closing her eyes. She would have to get up when Celestia did, to lower the moon.

Once safe leif left the refugees to do whatever most headed to equestria slowly the very first group he had saved weeks ago was just now reaching the equestrian border

 

Grell slept soundly holding midnight

Steel slept peacefully while holding lunar

Luna sighed, burying her face in the pillow. "Why does everypony else get someone...? If loneliness really is the path of a princess, I don't want to be a princess anymore..." she said to herself, clinging to the pillow.

 

Midnight and Lunar both were sleeping soundly in their arms.

Aurora awakes with a start. Aurora qiuckly heads for the only pony she knows can help her through this one. A tap is heard on Luna's balcony window. Aurora is standing there, a crystalline glow to her coat, as she waits for Luna to answer. She looks a little lonely and a little scared.

Luna blinked, noticing Aurora. She got up, wiping the forming tears from her eyes as if they were sleep, and walked over to the doors. She opened them. "What is the matter, my dear Aurora?" she asked sweetly, helping her inside. "Did you have a nightmare??" She closed the doors behind her.
