Yeah, about me changing changing posts, I'm just really picky about who I want to request and I usually change posts constantly and I couldn't decide whether to choose the yellow pony or the grey pegasus. Sorry about that, but I'm just glad that I get to see those two ponies now.

It's close to being finished, I only need to draw the mane and to render the shading effects. I'm having a littlelittle bit of trouble with the eyes, the style I usually use didn't look right for her, so I erased it and tried to use the one in your picture. It feels weird, but maybe that's just me, I prefer big rounded eyes .

Also, when I'm done, if there is a problem about the palette I used to draw her, just tell me so we can fix it.

 

By the way, do you want me to link the cutie-mark too ? So you can use it for other matters.

Today I'm trying to find new drawing ideas/methods and new colors/mane for Disparate(my OC), so nothing here for today

I won't be here during most of the next week, so I will try to do Poetic Stone's OC before going away, and when I'm back, I'll draw 2 OCs, maybe three. After that I won't have much time to draw, but I'll try as much as I can to get things done after holidays

Oh come on, that's nothing , and I'm not that much of an artist, there are people out here doing so much more and dedicating their life to the art, while I'm just sitting here creating vectors . But I'm glad that it can help some people along the way.

I just had some good ideas, so I have a proposal to make : Do some of the people whose I drew their OCs and the ones that will came after want the same background I used for my OC ?

Here's a bigger picture. I can change the style and try out some things if you're okay with it, I think there's some good things we can do with that.

Hey !

 

Working on it, I tried some color changes on the picture you gave me. I think I found a good palette, but I'm still working on it.

The body color will be grey (dark grey so it does not change too much from the original color), so it constrasts more from the mane black color, and I can keep the cutie-mark color. The hooves will be black. I changed a litlle bit the secondary color of the mane(from a blue/purple -I don't know the exact words in English- to a purple/red), it feels better.

 

I just finished the vectors for the global shape of the pony, and the..(don't know how to call it, the thing a little bit smaller than the global shape, that I fill with the color of the pony; being smaller, it creates the outline effect). So I can now work on the mane, eyes and colors.

 

I'll use the colors I told you to fill the whole thing, but I'll see how it turns out, it may suck, so I will see if I need to change them.

 

However, I need to know if you want to keep the eye style or if you want it to look like a standard pony eye(big rounded, with the iris).

 

About the mane, I think I'll try to keep a shape close to what you've given to me, and to change a little bit the way the two colors are positionned(like the last stallion I drew - at the top of the last page- )

 

 

In the end, I would like to know :

- about the eyes

- if you want a background like the one I made to my OC(see above)

Okay, so I'll get started tomorrow, I'm a bit tired right now so I won't start trying hard to draw stuff .

I've spent some time thinking about it and I've got some ideas though. I'll try to look for some good effects to draw stealthing, but I'm not quite sure I will find something .

I think the pose I have in mind will do, so the only thing I really need to know is whether or not you want a background and if you want me to keep a 1:1 format so you can use it as an avatar(I usually crop the picture and it's not 1:1 anymore). Of course, the backgrounds I draw right now are really simple, I can still change the style if you want me to.
