There have been a number of names from EG3 floating around in the last couple of weeks. One of them is "Sweet Sour", and if this message is correct, Sweet Sour might turn out to be the name of the pink haired archery girl.

Okay, she has pony ears, but is she really a humanized pony? I ask this because of the Sirens in EqG2. Is she some other kind of creature in human form? She doesn't appear to have anything, besides the spiral armband, that could be considered a human version of a cutie mark.

@@Red Cedar makes a good point about the ears though. I would guess that it's just a marketing thing, but it'd be cool if there was something else going on here.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, based on my last post and MLP's tendency to put in lots of mythological creatures. Our archery girl:

 

1. Has pony ears, even though she's in a human form.

2. Has eyes the color of water.

3. Has streaks in her hair resembling strands of seaweed.

4. Is wearing a Celtic-style armband.

 

Conclusion: Archery girl is a Kelpie.

I'm prepared to be disproven when the third film comes out, but based on what we have so far, that's what I've got.

But there are also Equestria Girls dolls of Luna and even Zecora with pony ears, so I wouldn't rule her out as being a human native.

I have a theory that Sour Sweet is the leader of the Shadowbolt Five as in most scenes she was in front of the pack in Dance Magic (with the absence of Indigo Zap). Here's proof I'll show to you:

Even so, I even saw how much her character was changed after Friendship Games. Maybe it's because her condition has improved. Hope to see more of her along with the Shadowbolts in the future. Spin-off maybe?
