I have to agree... it didn't turn out to good. try having a picture reference so you know what you are doing. There are also some tutorials on youtube.

For a first attempt it's really not bad. Practice is key. I'm new to drawing ponies myself, but I've seen some improvements in my work even after a short time with practice. The references really help too.
