Nope. I'm not a fan of the Usos either. :P

Figured. WWE waited too long to pull the trigger on them. There's potential there but either WWE are taking their sweet time to make them a breakout act by breaking out from Roman's grasp or they're just the fall guys for whatever multi-man Roman is involved in.

I think superkicks are boring unless Shawn Michaels throws them.

However, in my opinion the Shelton Benjamin/Shawn Michaels superkick looks silly when I go back and watch it because of how "Well, duh." it looks.

I think James Storm's superkick is the worst. It feels like he's throwing it in slow motion. Miro and Rich Swan have the best super kicks going today. For most guys though, the superkick has gone the way of the DDT. The hook kick is now the cool kick to do thanks to Ospreay and Marufuji.

I miss when the DDT was an actual finisher. Sure Mickie James and Alexa Bliss (Sometimes) use them as finishers, but now they're

relegated to "1-2-NO!" moves.

That Arn Anderson counter DDT that Dax does would be perfect for a finisher. If I recall, Yujiro's short DDT & Ryan Nemeth's delayed DDT, y'know the one his brother uses as a signature, Tommy Dreamer's DDT and Fuego del Sol's tornado DDT are the only examples I can think of regular DDT's winning matches. Even rope hung DDTs from Okada and Orton are used for set ups. Kinda sad.

I'll never understand why this isn't Dolph Ziggler's finisher instead of the Zigzag. It looks AWESOME depending on the sell, IMO.

I think Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman are the most overrated wrestler/manager combo, I watched one video of them and never ever again.

I think that's by design. It's supposed to be cold and impersonal. Roman only acting like he cares because he's using Paul. Just like he's using Jimmy and Jay. Design or not, they're portraying Roman as a sociopath.

Either that or they're just lazy.

I guess Roman Reigns using the guillotine choke is cool but the way you lock it in has always looked weird to me whenever he performs the move.

I guess the whole "I'm tall but I'm going to jump up and lock my legs around your midsection whilst putting you in a front face lock."

is what is awkward to me.

That's kinda how it works IRL. While Im glad guillotines are being taken seriously again, I think a Dyarse choke would be more fitting. A front face lock choke with a gator roll.

That's exactly what I was thinking or just the front face lock without the wrapping the legs part.

Nah, that sounds a bit boring. Holds need to be a bit more dynamic. Why Jake Hager added a slam to his head and arm choke. In practice it works fine. On camera it looks bland.

I can buy Jake Hager using a move like that due to his amateur wrestling background while Roman seems more like a brawler to me.

Yeah it's weird when non-discipline guys use submission techniques. Dudes a football player. Use a boston crab like all the other schmucks.

Pre-AEW Chris Jericho wasn't a schmuck and he used a Boston Crab. :orly:

Where do you think all the otger schmucks got it from? Trick question, it was Rick Martel.

And are you saying current Y2J is a schmuck?

Correct! I may be watching Attitude Era stuff now but I've had a new found appreciation for the Golden Era in recent years.

I don't think Jericho is allowed to be Y2J anymore. Now he's Vince Neil cosplaying as a wrestler. :P

Golden era had potential to be good if it wasn't built around one unstoppable top guy.

Not the worst thing to be in the world. If Motley Crue didn't retire, we'd be dealing with Vince Neil cosplaying as a singer.

The same could be said for the Ruthless Aggression and the era that came after it being built around John Cena.

We're seeing it now with Roman Reigns. Nobody has been elevated after facing him. Everybody was in the same spot before they challenged.

Sorry to sidetrack, but I thought Drew McIntyre was one of the most boring "guys" they ever tried to build into a star.

Drew had that cool "Broken Dreams" theme song during the early part of his first run but after 3MB started up my interest in him fell dramatically.

It was actually the opposite for most people. He was boring before all that. Said that Broken Dreams was way too cool for somebody so uncool. Drew Mediocre they called him up until he left for the indies.

I like Drew's Future Shock DDT more than Jon Moxley's Dirty Deeds if that'd make him feel better.

It's weird, I like Sheamus (Big guy with an accent.) but Drew McIntyre (Big guy with an accent.) just isn't interesting to me.

Yeah, Drew should've kept that and Mox could've kept the head lock driver or the regal stretch. But the paradigm shift/ death rider is better than the future shock.

And it's cause Sheamus knows how to be funny while Drew knows how to be serious.

YES bring back the Regal Stretch! My favorite submission move of all-time that I blanked on when you asked what our favorite submissions were.
