technology Are there any 3D Coat Users?

Anyone using 3D coat or the Steam Version of it?  I can figure alot of people will want to say just use Blender "because it's free".  But the voxel sculpting sounds so tempting and the auto re-topology sounds fantastic.
 
Speaking of free, the price is what I mostly want to ask.  Should I wait for a discount on Steam? I accumulated +$300 worth of spare change, but would it be more worth it if I wait a bit?  Steam gave me that mentality I know but... still.  Should I wait?
