True, but a quick glance at the top of the page then reveals the truth.

That is not my problem. My problem is the notifications I am getting. I never know if it is from the RP thread or from the OOC thread. I have to click to find out, don't I :T?

I guess, but is it really that much of a problem? It only takes like an extra second to scroll up.

Name: Professor Annabella Alexandra Belle (Anna)

Gender: Female

Race: Pegasus

Age: 25

Appearance:

sig-3839773.sig-3839773.Nmfo2B2.png

Stats:

http://vault106.com/characters/Annabella

Personallity:

Not exactly the most social of ponies, Anna tends to be more tactical and intelligent. She has a mind that's always working in order to survive or get better. She's very reserved because of this, and can come off as not very friendly. Anna can sometimes be oblivious to how she's acting towards ponies despite her vast intelligence. Other then her flaws with pony skills, Anna is a very strong mare that can take a lot of hits, and is very stubborn. It'll take a lot to make her break or shut down since she's already been through quite a lot! Anna isn't a force to be reckoned with. Her physical fitness isn't the best, and she often finds herself pushing too hard... But with a sword in hoof, Anna will not hesitate to kill you.

Backstory:

Anna has always been a large part in the function and society of Vault 255. Her family dates back to the pre-war era, when her wealthy ancestors took over the government and functioning of the local vault. Because of this, Vault 255 works heavily off a conservative regime, giving vault dwellers the ability to trade freely among each other and have less vault government restrictions. This has worked well for Vault 255, giving it a very unique environment that creates a less stressful atmosphere. Within Vault 255 is a even more delicate education system that has levels beyond taking the G.O.A.T. Residents can change their job with ease in the Vault and aren't locked into one specifically. Due to Vault 255 holding a G.E.C.K., it has a complex network of scientists. Young students strive to be one of these scientists since it pays a fair amount of the Vault's currency, and gives you a high status among other dwellers. This of course isn't possible without a proper education.

Diamond Belle, Anna's mother, was a overseer that was fair and just, but also carefree and fun. Most overseers are seen as strict leaders, but Diamond was very lighthearted. She married a intelligent stallion and had Anna soon after. She was always seen as the next overseer, but Anna instead went down her own path. She soon became a scientist, then after a professor who'd recruit and educate students to bring into the the sciences team's studies. Their study consisted mainly on the wasteland, and possibly colonizing a area outside the vault. Anna often would leave the vault with other scientists on expeditions, which is another thing that gives them their status. Since Vault 255 is located in a deserted valley, rarely on their journeys would they encounter trouble.

While having troubles with a stallion she was involved with, Anna decided to go on one of these expeditions. Little did she know that her team would encounter a deathclaw that'd kill her entire team of 9. Alone and injured, Anna limped back to the vault only to discover it was completely empty. It was like everyone dropped their things and left. The G.E.C.K. was gone, valuables were gone, and so were resources, but everything was still intact. Anna went to search for them with no prevail. As if her luck couldn't get any worse, Anna figured out she was pregnant soon after she found a settlement. With a black leather jacket from Vault 255, a scarf she had since she was 5, and a sword that has represented her family for generations, Anna currently wanders the waste hoping to finding something of use to her cause.

(( Anna's backstory is vague because I want to build upon it in the roleplay ))

My earlier posts should supply the reason to which they know he is a shaman, also, this particular party is comprised of the ponies responsible for supply runs.

And it looks great Star-Lord, however, you're still gonna need to fix up your character's stats and whatnot, we are like level 12 or 13 now. If you could do that here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1a53hcmIZj5Yh4pzYUTq2ZTeeN4ptAf-BaNS56q6-0Rc/edit#that would be great.

With the amount of people coming on. You think it would be wise if I abdicated a spot?

What do you mean? Also, I'm glad you guys have a diverse vocabulary, I enjoy looking up words, just adds onto my own vocabulary :D

Just that people keep jumping on. If this were a conventional Tabletop game, most would say more and more players would be overwhelming.

Oh, well Star-Lord is probably the last person I will let join, unless they met the criteria I mentioned in an earlier post.

All righty, by the way, I didn't see it explained how they know I'm a shaman in any of your earlier posts. This isn't a huge thing, I'm just wondering.

The pony showing up after Ezekiel finished talking with the spirit > The pony was listening in the whole time and made an inference that he was a shaman, given that he was talking to the air and crackshot's bewilderment to help confirm it. Also, I think I might wait until Star-Lord makes an introduction, just so that things don't get too far ahead and she may still be able to get in on the action or whatevas.

Sure. Actually though that does bring up an interesting contrast that might be cool to play with. In a lot of fictional universes where hi-tech and magic, especially of the abstract and spiritual kind, coexist, one tends to "cancel out" the other.

For instance in the Shadowrun Tabletop game, the more cyber augmentation one has, the less essence they have and thus, less connection and ability to use magic. Now obviously pony magic, especially earth pony, magic may very well collude with technology quite well. After all we've seen the pegasi work clouds and weather with and as industrial level machinery, Flim and Flam worked the Super Speedy Cider Squeezy with their magic, and earth ponies' affinity for "hooves on" appliances is supposed to be a part of their more subtle magic.

However, perhaps such is not the case with Zebra Shamanism? Sure we have machine spirits, but maybe a cyborg can't be spiritually awakened or looses that ability after a certain level of augmentation?

Just tossing ideas around.

Defender I always feel a bit iffy when we don't except new people. There may be a lot of people but if none of them are posting it doesn't matter. Remember defender if you have too many people to respond to and none of the time you could always get one of us to help you.

This is a lovely character might I add. Eitherway since this is fallout equestria many things are similar yet are still different and unique from the original fallout and mlp. I highly recommend reading the story when given the chance it's  a juicy read. Similarities just be name changers like vault to stable or pip boy to pipbuck that sort of thing. They can also be parallels like the enclave to the grand Pegasus enclave, red eye slavers to the pitt raiders, Alicorns/goddess to super mutants, Brotherhood of steel to steelrangers, and much more. The story is really unique and I once again highly recommend giving it a read if ya have not already. I hope we get to enjoy some fun roleplay in the future :yay:

Star-Lord, just add the character into our docs https://docs.google.com/document/d/1a53hcmIZj5Yh4pzYUTq2ZTeeN4ptAf-BaNS56q6-0Rc/edit#when you have the time of course.

You are all clear to post now, everything looked alright.

I think you are right ranger. but I never closed off accepting people, just made it a tad more difficult to join in. Perhaps you could help me with responses then, why don't you give it a shot and control the hellhound that is giving chip, dashia, dyna, and some NPCs some issues. Though, right now he is getting shot at and Dyna threw a dynamite at him, of course flying around and throwing explosives does tend to get a bit tricky even with her skill of explosives so it probably is gonna be a little off-track from being near the hellhound. and he only has his claws as weapons.

It'd be nice to get some background first, I read a few pages back, but I'm confused as to where everyone is and how to hop in. Can anyone help?

Basically, Aile Crackshot and Ezekiel have been captured by agents from this cyberpony community who seem interested in Aile, and Dashia Chip and Dyna are going to find something out about a computer chip

Group 2 is right outside of a cave fighting hellhounds(deathclaws) The area itself isn't too heavily detailed so you can come up with whatever like I did. The area itself is currently soggy and wet due to it raining recently.(acid rain) Just pick whatever team ya wanna follow and go for it, if you have any questions about fallout equestrian lore come ask me.
