Well, you could confer with others and ask them if your OC could be one of their family members, best friend, lover. Or you could take Princess Luna, and maybe Spike, who I have decided will not have been banished on the moon. Maybe he can tell the 8 about the mane 6 and help them rise above Celestial? Sounds like a more primary role to me.
