Speed draw

Ok so im very unexpeirienced in drawing and ive noticed that in most fan art that i found good, most of them were done in a short amout of time. I thought to give this technique a try and this is what i came out with in 6 mineutes 35 seconds. Id love to hear your feedback.

Thats good . I can never do speed draws. I need to set out a base and everything.

Drawing quick is great for practicing shape and form, not so great for detail. I highly recommend speed drawing as a practice tool though. I think this piece looks good, I'm also a RD fan, if you want to improve try and make time to do at least a drawing a day.

I definitely will try to do at least one everyday or so. I think that with more and more practice i will be able to create larger and better peices but speed drawings are a great start for me

Ya when I first started a spent a lot of time on the actual form and anatomy. Hind legs were a problem for me at first. And now tails seem to be the bane of my existence, they seem so easy but I'm never happy with them.

 

Don't be afraid of mistakes, especially in speed drawing, just work with the errors and work on the issues you had in more detail in another peice.
