Who's the mental one here?

Person A brings home food

Person B eats food later on, heating it up, which inevitably spreads food smell through the house.

Person A stands in front the door of the house, swinging it back and forth, for air to circulate and rid house of the smell of the food that they, themselves brought home

Person B gets upset, taking into account that Person A didn't stand 5 minutes in front the door, trying to circulate the smell of their own food out. Person B, in frustration, opens windows and turns on fan for better air circulation

Person A complains about Person B letting cold air in, when person A was the one who first had the door open for 5 minutes, themselves. Person A comments on person B needing to check into a mental hospital, when person B was doing exactly what person A was doing moments earlier.

 

Someone help me grasp this effed up situation and understand just who the supposed 'mental' person in in this predicament. Please.
