Probably Lee 197 May 24, 2015 Share May 24, 2015 Who would you rather disappoint? You kind of can disappoint Bill, there is a educational kid game where you have to save the world. Clover Heart 979 May 24, 2015 Share May 24, 2015 Oh, god, that's, like, the most difficult question I've ever heard... I guess I'd be slightly more inclined to disappoint Mr. Rogers, considering, y'know, he's kinda dead, so he's not around to care anymore. But if, hypothetically, he were still alive, geez, I have no idea who I'd rather disappoint... I suppose it might depend on the circumstances by which I'd end up disappointing them. If it's something that I can still stand behind or even disagree with them on, then I don't think I have anything to regret. But if it's something that I'm trying to prove about myself or hold in high regard myself, that kind of disapproval could be crushing... I'm sorry, it's just too hard a question to answer 2 You're the most basic of jokes.

Nit Pick 247 May 24, 2015 Share May 24, 2015 As much as I care about both, I'd rather disappoint Mr. Rodgers. Mostly because I don't remember any of the things he taught me other than Bill Nye. How Bill talked about things made it fun. Deoxyribonucleic acid was the pinnacle thing I remember from his show. Otherwise known as DNA. It always made me laugh how in his "Science Guy" show, he always added "Of science" at the end of every proper name he presents that is science related. Shame that his "Stuff Happens" show didn't really catch on. 1 Nit Pick's ask blog!
BrilliantVenture 335 May 24, 2015 Share May 24, 2015 Mr. Rogers definitely! His message was kindness, fairness, love, generosity, imagination, respect for others, tolerance, and overall good morality. He was a minister, but never brought up religion, an activist, but knew when to speak, and when to stay silent. He was a role model for many, and will be missed by many... I watched Bill Nye as a kid, but now that I've grown up and seen some of the stuff he says... He seems pompous, insulting, heavily opinionated, and very...in-your-face about things. Of course, this is all opinion, you are free to disagree...
Draxon 215 May 24, 2015 Share May 24, 2015 It would be heartbreaking to disappoint Mr. Rogers. I'd rather be a fool and disappoint Bill Nye than do something that could disappoint Mr. Rogers. 1 Thrackerzod is best pony.
Wind Chaser 4,769 May 24, 2015 Share May 24, 2015 Mr Rogers seems like a hard person to disappoint, and I don't really think we've seen anyone disappoint him... Oh, wait: https://youtu.be/yXEuEUQIP3Q Sorry, Bill. You're gonna get it.
Castle Bleck 19,520 May 24, 2015 Share May 24, 2015 (edited) Both guys were decent parts of my childhood... but in the end, I guess I'd rather disappoint Bill Nye; he could use logic and reason to get over it anyway, whereas Mr. Rogers was just too much like a kindly step-uncle. mars 4,863 May 24, 2015 Share May 24, 2015 I'd disappoint Bill Nye. It seems like we could maybe make up and have a good laugh over the situation. Disappointing Mr. Rogers would probably make me cry from guilt because of how nice and understanding he'd be.
Celtore 2,770 May 24, 2015 Share May 24, 2015 I couldn't disappoint Mr. Rogers, that would make me sick to my stomach. I watched his show when I was a kid and he's always been a role model for me. I try to emulate certain parts of him in myself; the problem being my fiery anger. I almost think certain adults in my life could benefit by watching parts of his show on YouTube. The lessons he taught are still relevant today. Bill Nye was a part of my childhood too, but he's a scientist. We're allowed to disagree on matters. Until recently, we disagreed on whether genetically modified food was good or bad for example. If he's disappointed, oh well.

Lunar Glow 677 May 24, 2015 Share May 24, 2015 Ok, I am sorry. but Bill Nye is THE WORST. He is extremely annoying, and makes the most obvious statements. Nye thinks he is "all that". HE THINKS HE IS A SCIENTIST. This is just the show, though. Mr. Rodgers, on the other hoof, is more modest. I loved Mr. Rodgers when I was little.. Of course, this is all opinion, you are free to disagree... Bill Nye is pretty in your face, but i also tend to agree with what he says. I used to do debate stuff, but i quit for the sole reason that i get in-your-face and aggressive, and the tone i talk to people in can get rather degrading, though i do not mean it. Mr. Rogers is exactly the opposite in that sense when you think about it. Kind of strange that they are so close for a lot of people, including me. Ok, I am sorry. but Bill Nye is THE WORST. Sorry, Bill. Bill actually is a scientist. Or maybe he is a retired one, i can't remember. He can be pretty aggressive though. I cracked up at that picture XD Science is not as important as good and respectful conduct. I love science way more than people, so i would rather be a dickhead all my life and know a lot XD I couldn't disappoint Mr. Rogers, that would make me sick to my stomach. Honestly both of these men are people I respect to this day, I wouldn't want to disappoint either of them. Although I suppose it would be easier for me to disappoint Bill simply because I don't have as big a scientific curiosity as I do other aspects of my life. Rogue Ruffian 72 May 25, 2015 Share May 25, 2015 Bill Nye - I love science, but he's starting to drift from real science to getting into philosophical brawls. A fact needs repeatable evidence. A hypothesis needs actionable experiments. Anything else is just a guess!
Justin_Case001 4,940 May 25, 2015 Share May 25, 2015 Rogers. I think Bill is a great spokesman for the scientific community, and I think we could use a lot more people like him, honestly. And plus--Professor Proton.
