I finally got my hands on some spare money and Watch Dogs has been on my list for quite sometime.... But is the game even worth the $30? tell me about your opinion and experiences with Watch Dogs.... is it truly worth all the money in the world or is it just an over hyped game?....

I'd say for that price it is not bad at all. The game was insanely overhyped for sure and does not live up to its concept entirely, but it has some really neat aspects, like taking place in a real city for once (Chicago) and having some pretty cool hacking abilities and different things to do in the city. It is a great diversion at the very least and I consider it a fun and somewhat unique open world experience. I think it was a good purchase for that price really. The game is overhyped but not bad for $20-$30. $25 is probably the sweet spot.

For the record, for some reason I geeked out when I saw the real Illinois license plates on the cars, I thought that was aweomse :P

Are you wanting to to get the game digitally or on disc? If I recall at GameStop the physical version is $30 for a new copy and $20 for pre-owned. On Xbox One at least.

my Xbox is a 2007 model.... it barely works.... the disc tray and the disc scanner are both broken... I can only buy games over the Xbox Live market place now

The game was overhyped and I personally felt that it needed some more time to develop, but I can't say that it's a bad game. It has an interesting concept and I've still enjoyed what I can do with Aiden's cool hacking abilities. It's a good $15 to $25 buy.

I played it on PS3 when I had it. It's very overhyped and not that good of a game.

So is Destiny but I did not buying in the hype about it. Then borrowed a copy, loved it, then buying my own copy. I say the same thing to Watch_Dogs (the not buying in the hype). I would buy it to play something (gameplay wise).

I've always wanted to play this game and yet I don't know much about the game myself.

The game is kinda like other open world games like GTA. It has some cool features that in my opinion are a little boring after the first hour of gameplay.

Played it on PS4, and I didn't care for it. It just seemed like your typical open-world game.

Except, you know, without the stuff that made GTA so good. Not terrible, just meh. They could have done so much with the gameplay. And the story was crap, too.

I got the game when it was $60 and when it cost that much I say hell no. I thought the game was goin to be epic when I saw the trailer and it look amazing but when I got it I regretted that fast. The game is kinda fun but having people being able to join in when playing story kinda pissed me off because it slowed the gameplay for the story. I didn't like the story that much as well. It was somewhat fun playing around when I got board day one haveing the game and downloaded a modded single player save for the xbox360 but still I didn't think the $60 at the time was worth it. I also played it on 360 so online was not an option. I would wait for the price to drop to $25 or $20 before you get it but that's just my opinion.
