First off, i dont even like her as a character so i have no idea why shes even in my dream but i think i could turn it into a decent fan fic

I've had a couple MLP dreams so far.

 

One, the more epic of the two (the other is just weird) was of Lyra and I trying to break into the shopping mall that's shown in the attached below. Keep in mind, this mall has been closed for 10 years and the last time I was there I was like 7 years old. Anyway, she thought she was going to find the one of those garden globes in a store in the mall (pretty sure it was Montgomery Ward) that no longer exists that would allow her to see into the future. Typical Lyra being a little on the wacko side. So we break in through the skylights of the mall (which is now miraculously located in Ponyville, BTW), lowering ourself on grappling ropes. Last I remember we were crouched behind a potted plant directly across the store that had the globe in the display window. I woke up after that. Both my self-insert OC and Lyra look pretty smokin' in catsuits, BTW XP

 

In my other dream, the fuel gauge in my car broke, so Pinkie Pie rode shot gun with me everywhere and used her Pinkie sense to tell us when we were going to run out of gas. Told you it was weird. Had this one two nights ago, was tempted to use it as a status update but wasn't sure how to word it.

I know I've had more than one pony dream but I only really remember one.  I think I had one last night too but I don't remember what happened.  But of all dreams, the one I remembered was when I felt depressed irl, and the dream was just me hugging Twilight for a really long time and the rest of the mane 5 were smiling in the back.  I don't know why I remember this one but it gave me a nice warm feeling inside

I don't really remember it clearly but Discord showed up in one of my dreams. And in a couple others everyone in the dream became ponies, without any comprehensible story or explanation.

I havn't had a fully formed MLP dream, but I have had one with Twilight Sparkle in it. Sort of. You know how dreams can be. Sort of like clay; it can either be fully formed and look like something, or it can be a shapless blob. At the part where Twilight came in, the dream was in a half formed state, so there were no images or story line. My brain was just giving the signal of Twilight being present, among other random things.

Only one that I know of.  It was last year or maybe the year before that. I was in a cafeteria, like in a high school, possibly my old high school, and there was a guy with a Chrysalis blind bag.  When I had this dream, the set with Chrysalis had yet to be released, so (for some reason) we played a game of Yugioh to see who got it.  I have no idea how this dream ended.

 

I'm kind of glad I don't dream about this stuff on a regular basis (as far as I know, I only remember the weird dreams), it would signal to me that I've become too obsessed with this and that I need to do something else.

"Well There You Are"
    I dreamed that I was playing some bizarre and incredible game with a few members of my family.  A game where, on your turn, you secretly wrote something onto a scrap of paper...  And then whatever you wrote was actually summoned to the players.  It was my cousin's turn, and he gave me the impression that he was going to summon someone I'd like very much to see.  But I was worried that he might deliberately botch it just to tease me.
    "Rainbow Dash."  He confirmed the name before writing it.
    We somehow knew a visitor had arrived, but they must have appeared somewhere outside of the building in which we had been playing.  We exited together, and I traveled some distance on foot.  Ran.  I was eager; even hopeful.  Was it really going to be Rainbow Dash?
    Unfortunately, my sub-conscious had gotten things all wrong (it's a tendency to do that in general).  This new arrival wasn't Rainbow Dash.  It wasn't even a pony.  Some dark purple, dragon-like creature with a serpentine body had been summoned instead.  Needless to say, this was very disappointing.  I watched the ugly grape-colored thing fly off awkwardly, and, perhaps as part of the game, it was necessary that we pursue it.
    Still disappointed.  But still inexplicably hopeful.  We "followed" the creature (oftentimes in dreams you just show up wherever you were supposed to be), and we found it lying on its belly on a sidewalk down a dark and unlit street.  It may have even been raining.  I believe my family was urging me to come along with them.  To give up.  But I felt that I needed to linger - just a bit longer.  There were bright, colorful lights emanating from somewhere nearby.  Below the street.  I saw them.  I looked over at the prostrate beast that soooo wasn't the visitor I'd wanted.  And then...
    She came hurtling out of the black sky.  Slamming down with remarkable precision on top of the purple, motionless bulk on the sidewalk.  The beast immediately BURST, and its remnants were scattered in all directions as though she had just landed hard in a puddle.
    She...  Rainbow Dash.  Well there you are.
    There was a sequence directly afterwards where Dashie dramatically took to the skies and sped towards some unknown foe.  Then an out of place and comical moment where she found herself inside of the cockpit of a plane or spaceship and struggled to figure out the controls.

"I'm Here"
    I was in a store and noticed just the hint of a black Rainbow Dash t-shirt on sale for (according to a nearby sign) "two bits."  Apparently, inflation was pretty severe in the dream world, because two bits equaled twenty dollars.  I dug around in my wallet (that I don't own in the waking world), and discovered that I had just enough.  This isn't the good part.
    I either took an elevator to another floor or simply witnessed someone else taking an elevator.  [Omitted.]  I found myself (probably seated) and surrounded by [strangers].  This wasn't what I wanted.  Either the room was spinning or I was turning my head from left to right; it's rare that I'm fixed in first person perspective in a dream.  I covered my eyes again, and I distinctly recall that I said, "I want Dashie."
    I heard her answer, "I'm here, baby."  I uncovered my eyes and there was her lovely, smiling face just in front of me.  As far as I could tell, those [strangers] were nowhere to be found.  [Then other stuff happened. < _< ]

I had a random dream where I was riding a motorcycle down a empty highway in the desert. It was in a third person perspective though; it was like I was watching a movie. Then all of a sudden there was five other bikes with me and we were all following each other as a group. After, an Apache gunship came from behind us and shot rockets at a brige in front of us, destroying it. Then for some reason, I was no longer there, and instead replaced with Fluttershy. Then the rest of the other bikers turned into the mane 6. Everyone breaked and skidded out of the way, off the road. Fluttershy however, slide on the ground and nearly fell of the destroyed bridge. She grabbed on to the edge of the brige and pulled her self up. It was now in first person from her perspective. Rainbow Dash walked up to her and all her other friends were in the background looking at her... And I woke up... .-.

 

The dream was only a minute long, yet it felt quite complex, with all the perspectives and realism.

 

A strange dream if you as me xD if only I had more dreams about ponies. They didn't even get a chance to speak

 

Oh well.

Ohhh boy... prepare for a wall of text... (copy-pasted from a PM I sent to a friend about the dream )

 

Every now and then, I have an absolutely ridiculously complex dream (and if you don't know this about me already, sometimes after I wake up, I remain a little.... confused about things, sometimes lasting for several minutes. During this time, I actually think the dream happened to me, until I slowly realize that it was only a dream... This dream was one of them), and sometimes my dreams surprize me with just how vivid and realistic they can be. Things happen that I don't expect and would never think of happening, although realistically, they would certainly take place if the previous situation had been established. Aaaaanyway, enough of me ranting, let me move on to the dream itself.

 

The dream started with me discovering a portal to Equestria. Naturally, I went through and had fun exploring the land and meeting the characters. That wasn't all, however. Anyone that entered the portal gained the ability to change between their pony self and their human self at will, no matter if they started as a pony or a human, and no matter if they were in our world or Equestria. I discovered this as I began to show some people in Equestria where the portal was, as well as my friends from our world so we could explore Equestria together. However, once word got out of the portal existing (which only took about 3 or 4 days), the government stepped in and cut off access to the portal. It sounds like a mean thing to do, and indeed, many people were outraged (especially the bronies, who all wanted to not only go to Equestria, but gain the power to turn into their ponysonas at will), but it was not without purpose (here was one of those things that surprised me about how realistic it would be, even though I don't think I could come up with it, it happened in my dream anyway). A portal to another world is essentially a border, and laws would need to be established to protect that border. Laws would have to be worked out between Earth and Equestria regarding immigration, visitation, and trade as well as various diplomatic discussions between our leading first world countries and Equestria. Besides, if no laws were established, people from both sides would be fighting to go through such a small entryway, and absolute chaos could ensue. Neither of us knew if the portal was dangerous if so many people tried entering at once, it would only be shut down long enough to have a proper system in place for any purposes it may serve. Then it would be opened up again, but before that could happen, we still had to work out laws with the Equestrians, so a meeting was set in place, it was to be held in a building on Earth quite close to the location of the portal. Both sides would send diplomats from our own worlds to discuss these laws and try to find a method of organizing trade, commerce, job outsourcing, immigration, visitation, and punishments for violating these laws. The diplomts from Earth were mostly first world diplomats, many of them served NATO, but they also sent me to attend the meeting. Earth decided that since I discovered the portal, I should at least attend the meeting, and although I don't understand the complex world of world politics, I should be given whatever voice I could have in the discussion between the two worlds.

 

Meanwhile, Equestria sent six diplomats to our world to attend the meeting, I bet you could guess who they were. Things were running smoothly at first. The mane 6 made it to our side, taking human form out of respect for our culture, and a mass of media was swarming outside to cover the meeting once it started. But Fluttershy started to panic when she was told about the event being broadcast live to everyone on Earth. She grew nervous at the thought of 7 billion people all watching her at the same time, and she wound up hiding in the bathroom and refusing to come out. The other mane 5 couldn't get her to come out. Things were getting bad. The meeting was scheduled to take place in a few minutes, and if it had to be delayed because Fluttershy refused to come out of the restroom, the media would eat her alive! We were running out of time, and in a final desperate attempt, Twilight came up to me. She said that I had discovered the portal, and perhaps someone from our world could make her feel better about our own technology. She said I seemed like the best candidate, because all of the diplomats seemed too formal and down to business. Applejack would distract the press to buy us as much time as possible, meanwhile I'd go in and try to convince Fluttershy to attend the meeting. So, I turned myself into Hocus Pocus to make Fluttershy more comfortable (I figured a human was the last face she wanted to see at the moment), and walked inside the restroom. I told her I was there to talk, and I asked if she wanted to go somewhere more private first. She nodded her head yes, and I teleported the two of us to an empty field outside of the building. We could see the massive mob of media gathering at the doors. Fluttershy was nervous to see it, but at the same time, I could tell she was a little relieved to be out of the building. I began to talk to her,  (I'm better at writing conversations as stories, so while I do remember some of what was said word for word, not everything I'm typing is. I'm only putting it in quotes because it's easier for me to write that way.... sorry if it's confusing ^^")

 

"You probably already know why I'm here.... don't you?" I asked her. She said that she did. I sighed, and for a moment, we sat there in silence. I eventually started to speak again.

"You know... when I first started watching your show, I shouldn't lie, I hated you... I could never stand seeing you on screen... You were weak, cowardly, and even abandoned your friends at times" I started.

Fluttershy responded

"That's okay... I completely understand. Who would enjoy watching somepony as weak, pathetic, and cowardly as me?."

"You didn't let me finish...." I said "Yes, those things bothered me, but the real reason I hated you so much wasn't so much because of that.... You see, the real reason I hated you was because..... I was jealous of you."

"What? Why would you be jealous of me of all ponies?" She asked

"You were weak, yes, you were shy, yes, you were cowardly and sometimes even pathetic... But you also had friends that accepted that about you... I on the other hand.... I was born and raised as a man. I wasn't allowed to cry, I wasn't allowed to be shy, I wasn't allowed to be scared. Any time I was, I was punished for it. "Be a man! Grow up! Stop the waterworks!" were all phrases I heard often... I'm broken, Fluttershy... I've been broken... We're more alike than you know, and yet I dare not show it. I have always been shy and scared, but I've been trained to hide it deep down inside me to the point where I'm too afraid to be my true self even here in private with you... And the worst part of it all is that I'm not even a man.... Whenever I saw you on screen, you reminded me of myself. I saw you, and I saw your friends, happy to be with you, accepting of your flaws, willing to let you be yourself. I saw you living the life I was supposed to have, and it hurt me. I grew jealous of you, I grew jealous of your friends, I grew jealous of their acceptance. I never hated you because you were shy. I hated you because you were like me. But now, I wouldn't have you any other way. You taught me a lesson that nobody else in my world dared to teach. You taught me that it was okay to be afraid.... So everyone out there wants me to tell you to face your fears and be brave and all that, but that's not what I'm going to do... Because saying that would be doing to you the exact same thing that ruined me. I'm here talking to you right now because, the truth is.... I'm scared too... But when we go out there, and we face those cameras, lights, and crowds... at least we can be scared together..."

 

She nodded at me, and I asked if she was ready to go back. She said yes, and I teleported us back into the restroom. She turned into her human form, as did I, and we both walked out of the restroom together (much to Twilight's relief). The dream ended shortly after the meeting got started. But again, I'll never forget that dream. Sure it was really vivid and complex to the point where I believed it actually happened for a few minutes after I woke up, but with the impact it left on me even today... I guess a tiny part of me still believes I talked to the real Fluttershy.... But only a tiny part I still know Equestria isn't real

Well I once dreamed that I was in equestria and everything made no sense. Twilight appeared out of nowhere and then Rainbow Dash fell from the sky and I felt like I was falling and I woke up..... Strange dream but whats more strange its that I've had this same dream for several nights now o.o
