In likewise finality my life experience stands in disagreement to that assertion. (And I've seen much of the world in my life.)

Oh HELL YEAH! That shows kicks ass! First anime or Brotherhood?

oh are you kidding me both i love them both cause they look at different stories of how the series could work out but brotherhood is the original so i have to love brotherhood more, i even read the manga, and i'm looking at the artist's other work

I don't understand why people think Disney is going to ruin anime if they buy Funimation. Look Disney let Miramax release Sin City. They Marvel make an M-rated Deadpool game. They let ABC air How to Get Away With Murder. I doubt they're going to kiddify Funimation. At most, we'll probably see Dragon Ball and One Piece on Disney XD, WITH uncut releases available so that you don't have to complain about edits.

Hey, can't be worse than what 4kids did to their dubs of the anime they had.

A country? Albeit a small country but still. It wouldn't surprise me.

Well technically Disney world is kind of like America's Vatican. Disney has it's own emergency services and can set it's own building codes within the property. And Disney's Castaway Cay is a small island that's all Disney property.

Both of which, are idyllic places to spend time at so a country run by Disney, I think, would actually be pretty sweet.

This is not brony bias speaking; I would definitely not put it past them to make a move on a toy company such as Hasbro or Mattel. My money would more likely be on Mattel since it is losing ground to Hasbro and is in need of a boost (ponies are partly to thank for that), however Hasbro has a more vast reserve of well-known IPs that have crossed over into different media. Disney likes to be in control of an integrated business from concept to completion, and to be in charge of a heavyweight merchandise licensor would look very good for business and help to achieve that goal through direct accountability.

But, on the contrary, the traditional toy industry is losing money to digital industries such as gaming and Internet-based content. Disney has had that area well-covered with their own operations, including a 1/3 stake in Hulu. I'm not very informed on video gaming, but I could definitely see Disney making some moves on a well-known video game publisher as well. I can't name any particulars because I am not as informed, but I can really see it happening.

I could see Disney buying Square Enix or even Capcom sometime in the future. And tbh, I wouldn't mind it

I've honestly lost track of what they own now, but let's see... They will probably buy out the rumoured Mighty Max reboot, Studio Ghibli...

Right now they are too busy milking Frozen so we should be safe from franchises getting bought and retooled. Long live Renaissance & Classic Walt Disney!

And it should Frozen deserves every positive review it gets. Plus they've also made the Princess and the Frog and Big Hero 6, I'd say Disney is in the middle of a new great chapter in it's history.
