the cartoon itself is pretty meh, but I really love the dolls and the character designs. Neat stuff, man. I wish these dolls were around when I was growing up, I'm sure I would have enjoyed them far more than Bratz. I already caved and bought a Frankie doll, haha.

 

It would be a riot to cosplay one of them sometime. Maybe the yeti chick?

I first heard of this several years back when I was shopping with my mom and sister. I believe we were in a Limited Too store, and I saw it on the TV and I was like, "The hell is this?" Then not long later, it was on TV and I was deeply disturbed somehow.

Eh. I tried watching the show today, but it didn't appeal to me all that much. That and whoever voices Draculaura has a really annoying voice.

I do love the character designs though. They're really cool looking I wish they wouldn't dress in all those miniskirts and stuff though, it's kinda slutty.

Incidentally, I watched an episode today on TV. It was alright in terms of teaching morals and depicted the characters decently, although some lines were cheesy.

It’s fine. The concept is cute and the characters look cute, though the characters themselves are eh, only Laguna, Abby and Draculaura in particular were the only ones who stood out(though I’ve only seen a couple of webisodes and only one of the specials). it’s not exactly mind blowing but it’s nowhere near as bad as some insecure bronies will say it is. 
 

That said I preferred it’s spin-off Ever After High, just felt the plots were better and the characters were more interesting

I was never into it as a kid or anything, but someone I know got me semi-interested.

I like the character designs and I wouldn't mind having some of the dolls but that's about as far as it goes for me.

That being said 

I was big into the fandom when it was around. I had tons of the dolls including the rare hard to find ones. 

Boo York and 13 Wishes are my favorite movies with Operetta, Draculara, Cleo De Nile, Robecca Steam, Clawdeen, Abbey Bominable, Twyla, Toreli and Nefera De Nile being my favorite characters.

I love the new stuff too! I think it's almost as good as the old movies and web series, and I love that they separated the doll lines into playlines (G3) and "collector's dolls" (G1). It's really great to have new dolls of both generations coming out at the same time!
