What games would you instantly preorder if you saw a reboot coming out?

 

I would personally love to see a reboot of Crash Bandicoot so long as it followed the style of the original games. I would also love a reboot of Spyro. Yes I am aware Skylanders is technically a Spyro game but I consider it a spinoff.

I'm right there with you on Spyro. Not really a fan of anything past the third game.

If they brought back the vibe that made me fall in love with the first games, I'd be all over it.

 

Let's see... I would LOVE a sequel to the game Pokemon Snap!

That game was so much fun!! And with better technology, they could put a ton of new Pokemon and environments in it.

Unsure about pre-ordering but I would be quite happy if STALKER 2 existed. Half-Life 3 hurr hurr hurr. Perhaps there are others but those two I thought of now.

The Jak & Daxter series.... I have been wanting for years now that Naughty Dog would return either to this series or Crash. You don't know how badly I miss those games. I liked Jax & Daxter a bit more though.

After the 3rd game from the mid 90's, we've seen so many prototypes for cancelled potential installments for the series, one from this decade, that I'm almost pissed off that Sega hasn't released a new one yet.

Chrono Trigger for the SNES, it was suppose to have a PS1 reboot, but Sqaresoft (at least I think that who was doing the reboot) got bought out, and the project was shelved. 

 

Havest Moon (SNES): Yeah there has been many sequels, but I would love to see a reboot of the very first one.

Spyro! I wish they gave it a good old reboot, that was like the first game but with better graphics. A new story, but the same old cocky Spyro and maybe a few of his old friends as a anniversary of sorts

I don't think anyone here has ever heard of them, but I want another MySims game! The last one came out in 2010, so I'm pretty sure there won't ever be another one, but the ending of MySims Agents is just begging for a sequel (and EA was going to make one, but it got scrapped in favor of MySims Skyheroes)

 

I used to play those games when I was younger, but today I decided to play some MySims Kingdom just for fun, and I remember how much I really enjoyed it (not MySims Party though. That one sucked.)

Banjo-Kazooie and Conker's Bad Fur Day both need a reboot, ("Conker's Big Reunion" doesn't count since it's just a Project Spark dlc, and I like to pretend that "B-K: Nuts And Bolts" didn't happen) and it's a shame we never will get a reboot of them because Microsoft only allows Rare to make Kinect games nowadays.

Headhunter, yo. The second game didn't turn out all that great and the company went out of business but the first game is one of my favorite PS2 games ever.

 

Planescape: Torment could use a sequel. It is getting one but I dunno when or if it'll ever be released.

 

I'd say Wild Arms but the developers straight up said earlier this year that the series is not dead.

 

I really want a new Baten Kaitos too. It's been so long and there's been rumors of a BK3 for so many years.

 

I'd love a next-gen ActRaiser as well.

Live and Reloaded was just a remake of the first game. After Live and Reloaded came out, that was it for Conker, until recently when they announced an episodic dlc for Project Spark where you play as conker. It's not a real Conker game, and many fans are a little bit angry over it. It's better than nothing, though. XD

I know you're being facetious but I would actually want to see a legit remake of the CDI games so some of us can experience what happened in them.

 

And I actually liked the looks of Nuts&Bolts. I need to get it.

the LoZ CDI I have never played but don't look as bad as the others say it is... my only problem with it is the controls... from what I've seen in reviews the item button is the same as the button to open doors which could screw you over...... and I agree with you with Nuts and Bolts I like the idea of building a car to help progress the game.... I would love to play it if it became next on the Free With Gold list

Games With Gold is delicious and has gotten me many games I would not otherwise have gotten for a long time. Last month's Bioshock Infinite was a great one.

 

Nuts & Bolts is probably cheap enough on disc anyway though. It wouldn't be hard to get.
