What is that? if you dont mind me asking.

 

It's a human rights organization.

 

The kind that deals with issues like children being used as soldiers etc.

Yeah, haha.

 

Amnesty has some pretty far-stretchered goals. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it's gonna take some time to reach them.

The founder pretty much sums them up in this quote:

 

"Only when the last prisoner of conscience has been freed, when the last torture chamber has been closed, when the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a reality for the world’s people, will our work be done."

I occasionally help put up wheelchair ramps for those that cannot afford them, it's part of a non profit organization. I also do volunteer work here and there, but I am not formally a member of any organization.

Lame, it does not even support the death penalty and it has a horrible immigration policy. I hate it now.

The organization mostly helps kindergarten through ninth grade students, but it also helps adult immigrants learn English, and helps regretful high school dropouts get their GEDs.

Oh. So that is pretty good then!
