movies/tv Do you like the Minions?

I'm indifferent. Although they were a lot better as side characters in the original film than they were in their own movie, I'm never too bothered with all of the marketing around them. Sure, the marketing may be oversaturated, but that is what happens with just about every successful franchise. All of this Minions merchandise won't be around forever either. In the next year, they'll most likely be replaced by another successful and easily marketable franchise. It's nothing worth raging about since these sort of tactics have been around since the beginning. There are better things to rage over instead of the Minions, anyway.

I still like them, but not anymore that I get super duper excited when I see them.

They're becoming like Frozen, overrated and seen everywhere.

I'm getting a bit sick, but I'll never get over their funny language!

I feel like the only one who likes them. They're pretty cute, and i even dress up in my minion onsie for halloween. *cries*

I frankly dislike the Minions. They seem like quick, cheap characters that they didn't have enough budget to design or write better. 

Okay, if you just want some background characters to serve Gru in his diabolical plots, fine. But they cannot carry an entire movie on their own. Besides being boring and uninteresting characters, they just aren't funny on any level. 

 

Don't feel bad though, DJ Gumball, as a Halloween costume they work just fine.
