Why ask Puck?

Actually, here's an idea. Puck's character Caramel is sitting on the docks by herself at the moment right. If you planned to join straight away, Somepony else on the crew could scare Caramel out of her thoughts and she falls into the water and hits her head on the edge of the dock, knocking her out. You could then a entrance by saving her before someone else can save her.

 

(Though knowing Scarlett she'll probably be involved somehow.)

Either that or have her meet up with my OC, knowing her. I have also been talking with Puck and that might be a good idea.

Or we could combine the two. Aqua saves Caramel and then Rave notices her and says hai.

Or Caramel falls in the water, Aqua saves her but Rave doesn't know that so he jumps in the water as well

I'm just saying, complaining about it doesn't help... It has no effect. There will always be offtopic, its not going to be any less if you complain about it. I understand that it is sometimes irritating but saying something about it every single time is unnecessary. Plus if things go too far, it is my responsibility, not yours.
