Left Shift vs Right Shift

I honestly didn't know that there even was a right shift. I always use the left shift.

I normally use left when I'm playing games, and right when I'm typing. Sometimes I'll use left when typing as well but it's not nearly as common for me to do.

I've used left shift for years, never the right one. As a kid, I used to use caps lock instead, but thankfully I got rid of that habit later on (I was already fast at typing, but that must have slowed me down a lot).

Apparently I am only one of 12 people who mainly use the right shift. I forget the left one even exists lol

Left shift, my right hand is always on the mouse at all times, even when I take my hand off the mouse for typing, it's always left shift for me, as it's the most natural feeling for me.

I was like  when I realized what you talking about. I hardly ever touched right shift and I'm right-handed! Like it's probably of the most unused keys on my keyboard. Now that I think of it why are there two shift, control (ctrl), function (fn), and alternate (alt) keys on keyboards?

I need a super tech pony to help solve this enigma....

Right shift is second nature to me now, I don't know I'm using it until I look down at the keyboard.
