Why didn't the Tantabus affect Spike?

In Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep (Dat reference btw), The Tantabus affects and twists the dreams of each of the mane characters......all of them EXCEPT Spike, by his own admission. So, why did the Tantabus leave Spike alone?

Because Luna didn't dream of Spike. She said that the Tantabus could only enter the dreams of the Mane 6 because she dreamed about them. Then Pinkie Pie dreamed about all of Ponyville and then EVERYONE was envolved, Lol

I assume because he's pretty much nonessential to the plot. Really, he's not a pony, has no power or effectiveness, and his role has been rendered more redundant as the series has gone on, so there's really no point in involving him except for throwing a little bone in the third act.

Because Full Grown Spike was in MY dream as we battled 2vs2 against Dragon Maleficent and Ganondorf. LOL!

But yeah, the answer's obviously because Spike wasn't in Luna's dream when it happened.

A Dragon as big as his love for Disney and has his head in the clouds literally and figuratively

Spike has built up an immunity over the years he has been slaving for Twilight. He now has this mind bending ability to cancel himself from your very mind. Twilight has trained spike well in these arts and now it shows its use in this episode very well. But yeah in all seriousness it's because Luna doesn't dream about Spike, poor neglected, not thought about Spike.

I think it would have been funny if Twilight asked Luna if she had dreamed of Spike, and then Luna said impatiently, "No, I didn't dream of spikes.  Why would I dream of spikes?"  And then Twilight would say, "No, not spikes, Spike!"  And then Luna would say, "Who's Spike?"  And then Spike would tap her shoulder and she'd look down to see him glaring at her.  Then she'd go, "Oh, right."  I dunno, I just think that would be really funny.
