8/10, really nice banner, love the image of Pinkamena on the right, and the text glows nicely to stick out. Rest of the text seems like it could be a bit closer and take up less space, though. Also, you've got a stray '<p>' tag there at the tail-end of your signature

It's suppose to give a more "grungy" feeling, so having a totally black background fits the theme

Changed from him now that the day is over, but I'll explain it since I did elsewhere anyway

 

Guy in the green coat and hat was the Once-ler; the antagonist of one of Dr. Seuss's earlier books, The Lorax. He was a greedy man with a vision to create the ultimate consumer product, and in his pursuit of making it and his business of selling it, he destroyed an entire ecosystem (a forest, in this case) in order to harvest the trees' raw materials needed for it. The guardian of the forest, The Lorax, tried to stop him and convince him to stop, but was unable. The Once-ler eliminates the entire forest, his business collapses due to it, and he then regrets his actions later on. It was made into a modern film. That's where my avatar and sig came from.
