Sooooo I recently bought the expansions to Civ V (had original game for ages) because they were on sale on steam and I love it even more! Buuuuutttttttt... I used to play with my boyfriend but since we broke up a few months ago I have no one to play with anymore D; I get bored easily playing alone... though I have played it all the way through alone and got the trophy for the science tree x'D

Sooooo Yeah.... Just wondering if anyone plays it and if you do... wana play a game together? :3

My Steam is PastaSorcerer

:D?

I do play it quite often. I love the game.

Also this if you are interested, trying to get more people to comment there and hope that Civ V will be added onto the PArc game list :)

I have it and play it every now and then. Not the best but I have fun with it. I don't really play unless I have people to play with though. Hit me up and I'm down to play! steam: mrmammal

I absolutely love Civ V but people rarely express an interest in playing it multiplayer.  I would be up for joining everybody in a multiplayer game of it.

YESSSSSSS I love multi player, the mic conversations can get so funny too :')

Unfortunately, Civ 5 is poorly optimized for multiplayer; even on LAN the experience isn't seamless. Having said this, I'd nevertheless recommend the game highly. There's always a lot to learn about the various mechanics, and so long as you aren't attempting to master the game on Immortal or Deity, you can let things slide even as you figure them out.

I really enjoy playing with custom civs. It's a treat to be sandwiched between the Confederate States, Nazi Germany, and the Eggman Empire, hoping they'll keep each other distracted before seeking to take your land.

I have actually run multiplayer games of Civilization V over the internet with a few friends to completion, so it is playable multiplayer poor optimization or not.  It's a lot of fun to play multiplayer while running voice chat.

I used to play Civilizations games quite a bit because for period of time I considered it best alternate history game for me (I would often play on maps based on world or specific part of world). Then I started playing Europa Universalis IV and Civilization became very boring for me since.

Civilization games are good games no doubt (though Beyond Earth seems to be mixed) but I moved on.

Games like Civ expect more game time than I can offer them both in multiplayer and single player. I don't play any one game for long. I'm constantly playing new games that I've never touched before. Games like Civ are fun to play regardless, and sometimes I'll go back to them for a little while, but with how busy my backlog schedule is I can't bring myself to play it for more than a couple hours at a time and only for a day or two before I won't touch it again for at least a year.
