gaming Any games you got at midnight release?

I personally have never bought any games at their midnight release, every game I've wanted that came about at midnight that I wanted would be during a collage week or something, though that didn't stop people at the college I went to buying fifa and not coming to classes for the rest of the week. I did want to get Pokemon X and Hyrule warriors the second they came out, maybe someday I'll be bothered enough and have the free time to get some game I want at midnight.

Well I guess I bought Xenoverse on the PS Store, which means it downloaded at midnight.

I got Evolve, Xenoverse and the Witcher 3 at midnight release and playing Evolve at release was crazy fun since everyone was lvl1 so i got to learn the game at the same rate as everyone else.  Downloading in advance for midnight release is an awesome thing.

I got Pokemon X at the midnight release... But only because I work at a store that was selling it, and midnight is one of my breaks. =P Tried this for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U, Mario Kart 8 and Pokemon Omega Ruby, but the people who worked in electronics during those releases were all clueless to any releases. =/

 

When I was really young my parents and I went to the midnight release of the Gamecube so we could get one for me for Christmas.

 

Otherwise, I don't think it has ever happened...

I did/do it for a lot of games, just because it's fun. Meet new gamers, get new teammates.
But, I also don't sit in line, I just wander about, and once the line starts moving, I wait until everybody is gone. 12:01 or 12:15, not a big difference to me.

Haven't done it much lately, though. Gettin' old. Hard to stay up that late. D:

The first game I ever got at midnight release was...*drumroll* Black Ops 2! I was soooo excited, got it at Gamestop at midnight, I was ready to play it all night long! AAAAAAAAAAAND the disk of blank. Yeah, just my luck. Had to go back the next day to get a replacement. First time is the charm I suppose. Since then I have not gotten many other games at midnight except for Advanced Warfare. I pre ordered it digitally and I was so excited to play it at midnight! AAAAAAAAAAND the game for no reason started to redownload itself which took over 8 hours. I think my luck with midnight releases is horrendous. XD

Only game I EVER got at a midnight release was Smash Bros for 3DS. I would say The Wii-U version too but I did that via online download and acquired the game earlier then it was released since I am in the mountain time zone. (At 10:00 PM the day before it was released)

 

But the 3DS version I got AT a midnight release at Gamestop, I don't have that game anymore only the downloaded version but I still went to that midnight release.

I went to the Borderlands 2 midnight release, we were there for 6 hours and suprisingly we got 2nd in line.

My cousin was going to buy me a copy.
