"Sutures" is the medical term for stitches. X3

They said everything was over, had me take an x-ray, and then plopped me back into the chair. They then proceeded to lace up the openings. It was weird, because I couldn't feel them puncturing my gums, but the thread went in white and came out red.

It was certainly an ordeal, and I'm glad I have a high resistance to pain; though, I'd like to thank the great performance of my main man, the Numbing Needle. Without you, buddy, I would probably have been traumatized for life. Stay golden.

 

Ah I'm thinking of soldering, which would be a little hardcore for oral/maxillofacial surgery now that I think about it. I wish I had a numbing needle for the two days following the surgery. ;A; I'm pretty good with pain from playing soccer all those years but I was really miserable even with the Vicodin. It seems like you won't have much of a problem, you lucky duck.

Had my wisdom teeth pulled. Proudly awake for the whole thing, I had to squeeze my fists when my bottom-right tooth was drilled into manageable bits. It struck a nerve and made me tinge a bit... XD

 

Look at that numb-ass smile!

 

Got some sutures instead of gauze... Hopefully I'll be back to eating celery within a few days!

I got 2 of my wisdom teeth removed when I was 17, but 1 at a time!! the first time was sooooo painful I wanted to die cuz I didn't had my painkillers. Please! take your painkillers and antibiotics, and prepare to abuse the power of the chewing gum because it's most likely that you will have bad breath all the time (because of the stitches retaining all the food you eat), and eat lots and lots of ice cream

I won't need braces and dunno if I'll need my wisdom teeth pulled... I'm lucky in those aspects.

Don't worry, I have yet to use my weapons on humans. I used my 12. gauge on some ducks last winter but that was about it. Although the katanas I have ARE for personal protection. I have some valuable stuff in my house, I don't need some burglar jacking my shiznit.

 

Oh and before anyone asks, yes I am a ginger and I have no soul. And my tattoo is of the mockingjay from the hunger games. And most of that big arm is muscle.
