Hey, all! Back again with another song (that's a few days old, whoops). This one is a gift for a dear friend of mine. He's been going through some rough stuff lately (though he informed me earlier today that's he's feeling better, so yay), so I thought I'd write something to cheer him up. (And he let me know he loves it, too, so double yay.) Therefore, it's a soft and relaxing song. It also, to me, feels kinda like background music, and while it's a little on the repetitive side, I'm proud of it. Here's to hoping you get some enjoyment out of it as well.

Thanks for listening!

To be honest, I kinda think that this song could've gone without percussion. Also, I think you used a little too sharp of sawtooth and square waves. They seemed to have that edge that kinda took away from the mellow mood of the song that you wanted.

In addition, watch those progressions. You limited yourself to the i and VII in the first part, but stuck a VI before going back to the VII, which is good. Remember, the less chords you have, the less possibilities you have for making melodies. In the part where you were going from the VI to the III, I suggest using this progression

VI-III-VI-i-VII-iv-VII-iio7

Also, the ending was just abrupt. The least you could've done was end on a happy note by hitting the III and holding it out then fading.

All in all, it's a good piece, but it could use quite a bit of work.
