Welcome to the Paragon Request Shop, where Hand-Drawn pictures are considered magic and incredible fun!

 

Here's a few rules:

 

1) I WILL NOT do Red/Black OCs. Since I do primarily hand-draw/colour, the colours never come out well.

 

2) References are a MUST. I draw everything freehand, yes, but I like having references so I know what I'm going to be working.

 

3) Let me know if you want a background or not. Backgrounds won't be necessary, but if I'm going to use an entire 8.5x11 sheet for a picture, I might as well use up the white space too.

 

4) COLOR OR BLACK AND WHITE - Let me know which one, because I DO BOTH.

 

5) RESPECT. If you don't have respect, I won't even THINK about doing your request.

 

So, everyone happy? Good. Let's get down to brass tacks, then.

I'm doing three other requests, currently, but yeah, I'll take a stab at it.

 

Thanks for the references. I have an ENTIRE folder on my computer called "Art Requests." Every person who gets a picture from me has their references and IN-PROGRESS pictures stored there.

 

You can request an IN-PROGRESS picture after two days, if you're so inclined.

My avatar is the current incarnation of him as I think the picture I use in my sig below is just a lazy Mac recolour I did when I first joined the forum because he roughly shares the same body size as Big Mac. His cutie mark is a horseshoe wrapped in vines. I normally let artists have free reign on how they design him so long as he keeps the size and colour scheme. That's how my OC "inherited" fluffy ears XD

All right. While not EXACTLY enough to go on, you're on the list... for now. I tend to refer to references instead of going all nutso-wacky on people when it comes to art. Helps me focus, otherwise something becomes another giant suit of armor... again.

 

Please get me at least a good reference of the cutie mark. I should be fine with the Avatar, it's just going to be interesting.

Well thats the mark litterally ripped from my recolour,

 

Its literally a horseshoe wrapped in vines, hope it helps. (you can play about with the type of shoe/vines if you wish. a black horseshoe does look abit crappy XD)

I... was honestly never expecting the interest in art that's purely hand-drawn. I'm pleasantly surprised!

 

Anyways, I've got a running set of folders called "Art Requests" where people are grouped by either "Completed", "In Progress" or "In List." People get moved from "In List" to "In Progress," just so I don't get confused.

Here's a tidbit for those of you who don't know about what it entails for Black and White.

 

Colour is easy... somewhat... to match, since I've got a pot of pencil crayons to choose from. It's difficult because of the amount of pencil needed to have my scanner not scan it in improperly, so it takes longer than black and white.

 

Black and white, well, that's always a fun challenge. I've got to figure out where the shadows go, and make it look good, not dark.

 

So, anyone who wants either, just remember, Black and white takes a few days, and COLOUR takes a few days.

 

Also, I'm busy trying to figure out just what the heck I did on the weekend. I don't remember most of it.

Okay, for those who don't notice at all, I don't post the finished art on the page, actually. I send it to you via PM. You get to see it first before the finished image ends up in "Examples of my Work."

 

If you don't want your image to end up in "Examples of my work," just say so, and it will not be added. I still retain all paper copies in the hopes that people will recognize my art one day if ever I'm at a convention with my art.
