Wow, things went real bad real fast. I can sort of relate to the idea of competing family traditions with different sides of my family, though it wasn't this contentious.

 

 

So about this whole Pinkie-Applejack thing, are they really cousins or NOT?

It hasn't said one way or another, it first mentioned the possibility in an episode in Season 4 called Pinkie Apple Pie where they went on a sort of journey to find out, but they never really found out for sure but came to the conclusion that they were a kind of family anyway because of how close they were. Even if they did turn out to be cousins though they would be rather distant cousins.

OR someone who is a lot older but seems much younger.

Like Discord.

I ship these two now even more.

That would be rather unexpected, though as far as Discord shipping I love Celestia and Discord because of their interesting history together making it the most hilarious ship ever.
