I had watched that episode. So we all know Shining Armor and Cadence are having a baby. But I have some serious headcanon stuck in my head now.

 

Headcanon 1:

 

Will the baby appear at the last two parter?

 

Headcanon 2 :

 

Will the baby be born as an Earth pony, an unicorn or an Alicorn?

 

Headcanon 3 :

 

Will "Skyla" be the baby's name?

1: I greatly doubt it. Probably sometime in season 6.

 

2: I'm guessing you mean pegasus, unicorn, or alicorn? I'm guessing it'll be an alicorn because of the toys.

 

3: Yes, I imagine it will be Skyla.

1. No. I expect a pre birth episode and later a single ep introducing the new baby to the world.

 

2. Pegasus as an unspoken nod to Cadance's book origin.

 

3. No. Promoting a toy who has already been released years prior is not the smartest move. I am hoping that the foal is a boy. Perhaps Skylar?

The kid will likely appear in an episode in Season 6, as the Season 5 finale is focused on something else.

 

The kid will most likely be born an alicorn or unicorn

 

There is a fair chance that the kid will be Princess Skyla, but there is a fair chance it will be something else. I suspect it will likely be a girl since princesses tend to outsell princes when it comes to toys.

1: No since as we see in the ep, Cadence just got pregnant and is not even showing. Horses/Ponies take about 11 months to give birth, so most defiantly the birthing of C/S foal will be in season 6 or even possible S7 if we get one. I'm going to go with the two parter since it would allow for S7 opening two parter to be a direct follow up to the end of S6 or they have it .

2: As far as we know Cadence was a Pegasus before she was an Alicorn and with Shining as a unicorn, there only really two possibilities unless there going to go with a born Alicorn which might be interesting since it might finally allow the history of Cel and Luna's past to be brought up.  

3: Bring back Skyla while not a bad thing, does make it harder for them to be creative. Sooo no real strong feelings on this one.
