About nightmare star....

Well, it seems that its highly possible that the nightmare star card from the trading card game might 100% just be a for fun card, as we have another precedent of that happening now: https://twitter.com/MLP_CCG/status/662694822868856832

 

 

 

So, since we have another card that shows the card makers are free to just make things up for fans that don't occur in the show (like pony non-hippocampi sonata dusk), its highly possible that nightmare star isn't going to happen either.

Oh.  Well that's a little disappointing.

I would have loved to see Nightmare Sun/Solar Flare in the show.

But then again these cards have had some information about actual episodes of the show like Princess Spike and Maud Pie wanting to go to the gala, so Solar Flare could still potentially happen in the finale.

I'm cool with no Celestia Nightmare self in the show proper.

It's a cool thing to imagine in what-if senarios, but as far as the actual show, she has no reason to turn evil/be corrupted.

 We could maybe?    Given EQG 3 had a bit of a look into the last eps of the season and Twilight in some kinda time loop?   Alt timeline maybe might be used in the season ending and maybe evil Sunbutt pops up?
