When will season 3 begin?

I hear you; I got permission from AuroraDawn to write a story in the spirit of "Rainbow Factory" about 2 months ago. I don't even have 1500 words yet! XD, and now with school... anyways, do you have any idea why they aren't keeping track of words read anymore?

 

Well, speaking of fanfics, I know this one guy who writes a lot, but has not posted a single one. I wonder if he would do a collab with me?

The release date for season 3 has not been released yet. On the 20th of this month, The Hub announced that in less than 30 days, they would announce the release date for season 3. So, the 20th of October is the latest we will have the release date for season 3. However, the 17th of November is the latest we'll be seeing season 3.

 

But, as I said in my previous post, the Italians say it will air in October...

Shame it is gone now otherwise I would go get a photo, probably for the best though... it was covered in drawings of male genitalia and missing a head or two.

We already knew about this much, though. They also say (as I do) that the most logical date of them releasing the actual release date for season 3 is October 11th, during the New York Comic Con. As I've said many times before, this puts the most likely air date for Season 3 at Saturday, November 10th, seeing as that's 4 weeks away from said Con.

 

 

In case you didn't know by now, The Hub said they would announce the release date for season 3 4 weeks before it aired.

Well my prediction of September 8th got blown out of the water. I think we'll be getting quality over quantity this season. Just looking back at a few clips of Canterlot Wedding, the animation looked super improved and fluid compared to early Season 2.

The contrast is especially palpable if you go back and watch the earlier episodes. I watched "Look Before You Sleep" yesterday, and I noticed how the animations seemed stilted in comparison to "A Canterlot Wedding". It doesn't take away from the quality of first season episodes; it is just something one may notice with repeated viewings.

 

Presuming the third season begins on November 10th and runs uninterrupted on Saturdays, the season will likely conclude in late January.

 

Does this mean we'll have to wait six months for another infusion of ponies?

I assume that it may not be every Saturday, perhaps every other Saturday maybe to make it last as long as possible.

 

And the season hasn't even started yet. Don't even begin to mention the next wait ;^; Don't...even.... begin.

That actually is official. No need to worry about it being just a rumor.

Actually, we have a concrete time window of when season 3 will air. The Hub said in a promotional email that season 3 would air in November (see my last post).

Judging by some new information I've seen, I'd say season 3 will premiere on November 3rd with an hour-long special. The formal announcement will be on October 20th, a fortnight prior; and they'd want to air the Halloween episode on the 27th as well as take two weeks to hype it.

 

I speculate that the season 3 schedule will look something like this:

November 3: 301 & 302

November 10: 303

November 17: 304

November 24: 305 (likely Thanksgiving episode)

December 1: 306

December 8: 307

January 26: 308

February 2: 309

March 9: 310

March 16: 311

April 6: 312 & 313

 

I'm just guessing here, so don't take this as fact.
