I sure hope so. They'll probably at least get thrown in the title sequence of season 3 no doubt. I wouldn't mind if they became full-time main characters either, but that probably isn't likely.

Shining Armor is a boring character. I do like Cadence though, and I don't think they'll just CUT SA out of an appearance with Cadence... So I 'hope' so, but I don't know if this is gonna happen.

Depends. I agree with Derpy, a bit more believable than Trixie, who I am still shocked they didn't bring back. (She's not even a recurring chacrater, yet she is one of the most popular with the fans! They shoulda brought her back! She had so much potentiallllll!!!! Okay I'm done. 0.0)

 

But yeah, if anyone should return, it's the couple. Not even a cameo, maybe something involving Twilight asking "Hey how was your honeymoon, etc. etc. etc.". Maybe they should be a little part of the Season 3 opener (hopefully another two-parter!!!)

Is what I imagine will happen with Candance and Shining Armor.

 

Season 1 was introducing the series and trying to get people to watch it

Season 2 was exploring the fandom of the bronies and giving us shoutouts and other things

 

My prediction is for season 3 they are going to start fleshing out the characters more

 

Since candance and shining armor are important parts of twilights life, id imagine they will be involved in future episodes.

How about this? In the future, a visibly more mature (but not old) Twilight is foalsitting for her niece or nephew, and tells a story through flashbacks that teaches a valuable lesson in friendship. Maybe the foal had a fight with her best friends, and Twilight can relate a story from her own experience. Cadence and Shining Armor would be in it of course, but the mane six could also drop by to help tell the story. Rainbow Dash could take a break from her busy job leading the Wonderbolts. Rarity could have a huge fashion show later that night, and drops by for a cup of tea. Pinkie could be, well, pinkie! Applejack is overseeing the planting of a new apple orchard nearby, and Fluttershy stops by, because the foal's pet has a cold and he's on her medical rounds for the day.

 

Actually this could be a nice episode to end the series on!

I don't think that they would have an actual episode, but definitely a few re-appearances. If Shining and Cadence did however have an episode, I vote for a fight between the two and having Twilight plus a few others solve the problem. :3
