Of course not! There's so many people that love them that I find it insane.

 

Personally, I don't understand the appeal, and I have nothing against liking them, but holy sweet Celestia, those things are everywhere.

The entire Internet was taken over by Minions for a while, so I highly doubt you're the sole person to like them. I like them too...although the Minion movie screws up their own lore and I don't particularly like that.

I used to like minions, but after a while, they became really unfunny, desperate for laughs, and super over-used.

I'm just tired of seeing them everywhere.

Instead of being remembered as a silly fad that lasted for a few years, now they're a money-making machine for the big money-making corperate companies, and everytime a child goes into a store and is like: "Mommy, there's a minion on *place product name here*, can I get it? Please, please, please, please?", they make even more cold, hard, cash.

 

Yup, that's marketing and business for ya, folks.

I don't have a problem with the whole minions thing itself. It's just they've sort of over stayed their welcome.

I think they are cute. I also liked the banana Tic Tacs they made during one of the movie promotions
