The problem is that they add a new character every season. Like poof was added in season 6 and he stayed since 2008. And thats fine if they added in one new character but when season 9 came along and added Sparky, i just lost intrest in the show altogether. Sure, i may watch it every now and then but only when SpongeBob or MLP is not on. When i heard about season 10 coming for FOP i though to myself "Gee a nicktoon getting to season 10 before SpongeBob? Huh i gotta check that out". And what do ya know they added in ANOTHER character that is unnecessary. I kinda feel like this show & SpongeBob are the only Nickelodeon shows that are keeping the network alive. But mostly they are depending on SpongeBob on the ratings. But let me tell you something. A NICKTOON IS BEATING SPONGEBOB IN THE RATINGS! WOW HOLLY CRAP! IF THIS NICKTOON IS BETTER THAN SPONGEBOB I GOTTA WATCH THIS! (Watches Nicktoon) oh.. GOD THIS NICKTOON IS BEATING SPONGEBOB IN THE RATINGS?!?! THIS NICKTOON IS STUPIDER THAN SANJAY & CRAIG! Yes im talking about the show Breadwinners. From what i have been hearing, the people are watching this show because they are so burned out on SpongeBob. TBH I WOULD RATHER WATCH TEEN TITANS GO THAN BREADWINNERS. ITS THAT BAD THAT YOU CAN SAY THAT THE NEWER EPISODES OF SPONGEBOB (The Bad ones *Cough* A Pal For Gary) ARE LIKE THE ANGRY BEAVERS. ITS THAT FREAKING BAD. The show has theseGROSS close ups on like a scab or a foot and they make a very eyeball gouging with a spoon close ups. Well it could be worse. But at the least, SpongeBob doesn't have these Gross closeups. Ok. Scratch that they did once or twice in season 6-8 and only once in season 9. Anyways, what do you guys think?

Spongebob's gone to pot as well, long ago. Nick is dead. I stick to the 90s programming block on their secondary channel, if anything. Though apparently some older shows are to be revived in future. Sadly, Cartoon Network is floundering a bit too. Teen Titans Go is their Spongebob, valueless stupidity played in large blocks at a time. That and Uncle Grandpa. Gross.

WHAT THE FUCK, FAIRLY ODD PARENTS IS STILL MAKING NEW SEASONS   ? I thought it stopped after the live action movies with Drake Bell  . Oh well, I lost interest in it a long time ago  . I just hope the same doesn't happen to our colored horses

I didn't even know Fairly Odd parents was still making new seasons. I thought it ended shortly after they added the baby.

You learn something new everyday. I don't have any of the major cartoon channels so I'm not too big into this stuff.

The biggest problem with this show now is 2 things: Constant additions of new characters and total unbalance of each character. Characters are now either rarely seen or not seen at all to overuse characters like Cosmo, Crocker, or Timmy's Dad, who are all already passed flanderization at this point. Then, there's the constant addition of new characters. It feels like every season since the 6th they've had to introduce some new character to try and keep the show fresh. There was Poof, Foop, Sparky, and now this season, Chloe. These new characters are added in ways that destory the show's continuity. You know how the faries would always have rules? Well now, it feels like those rules are only brought up whenever the plot says so.

 

Also suffers from typical signs of seasonal rot. Characters acting in any way the plot wants the too, flanderization, poop jokes, etc.

A few cartoons are really really good. Much remains awful.

 

And FOP basically has a new episode every half-year now.

I actually still like FOP but I'm getting tired of them adding new characters so much. I don't get why they keep doing this. I liked it when they added Poof, I said "alright" when they added Sparky, and when I heard about Chloe, I said "I hope this works but why do they keep doing this?" I'm sick of this.
