Shadow looked up and said,

"Feeder, I didn't expect to see ya here. What bring you here on this day?

 

Feeder said as he placed the jar with the parasprite inside it on the table,

"No, your not. A student was chasing it in the dining hall. He said that it came in and ate his paper."

 

Shadow looked at the parasprite and said, 

"Ya know I wouldn't ever bring this here. Don't parasprites eat food, not paper?"

 

Feeder nodded and said, as he left,

"Ya can handle the pest and the student was trying to make an excuse why it was there."

 

After Feeder left, Shadow sighed and said, 

"That's Feeder, he's the one in charge of the school."

 

Indus watched the brief discussion take place, and nodded at Shadow's explaining that Feeder was in charge of the school.

"I see," he nodded, "So, he is our mysterious employer."

 

His attention then went to the jar, and he lowered his face down to see the parasprite inside.

"A parasprite that eats paper? Something similar has happened before; a swarm of them nearly destroyed Ponyville and Fillydelphia five years ago. The result of a backfired spell made the parasprites devour objects instead of food for sustenance. We're lucky this one was captured before it could multiply."

"Yeah, heard about that, but here is the weirdest thing,  the only creature that gets into the school are mine, and I would never get a parasprite. So where did this creature come from?"

He open the window and a snake's head came through the window. He picked up the jar and placed it in the mouth of the snake, then the snake's head left.

when she came there she saw that flearia was allready there. she saw that there where many students standing around flearia. summer walked through the circel of curious students and placed her stuff down next to flearia. she saw that her friend was a bit uncomfortable from all the attention she got so summer stood up and said to the other students 'if I where you, I would go find the best place now. otherwise you can't sit anywhere' and she looked at the other ponys with an innocent look in her eyes. 

 

After Summer had shoo'ed the other nousy students away and placed herself down. Flearia smiled at her with a tankfull expression. "Thanks Summer. I think they got bit to impressed with my small magic show to the teacher yesterday. And having a rare companion like Irra also makes me kinda attention drawing even if I don't want to."

"If it is not one of yours," he deduced, "then a student must have brought it with them. If there is a law regarding pets, perhaps it was smuggled in?"

 

He gave Shadow a look. "If the spell I'm thinking of was cast on that parasprite, it may be best for me to cast a removal spell on it before we do anything else. If it escapes, it could cause a serious amount of damage to the campus."

"Well, the teachers are problably discussing about something, so I would just wait here" Musical says They're problably talking about the Papersprite. Crap.

"Well, this is the Enchanceting Class, but I'm not hyped since I'm a Pegasus, not a Unicorn..." noticing Heart's horn "...Like you?"

 

" Yes indeed, dearie, its good that you noticed." she says

 

Still. If they are discussing about Papersprite, they don't know that me is the one who summoned it.

"Perhaps I should go look for that student whose papers were destroyed," he suggested, not noticing the pixie flee from its cage, "Maybe we will find some answers."

Shadow opened a portal and said, before stepping through it, 

"I got it covered. I have a way to get information."

As he walked through the portal, something scurried from under the bed and into the portal.

Shadow came out of the portal and into the glass room. He looked at all the students and said as he reached into the portal to pull out a jar,

"Excuse me, the student, who was chasing this parasprite, please join me. I have a few questions to ask."

"Feeder came up to me and said that you were making an excuse for chasing the parasprite saying that it somehow got in, and here the thing, I know every creature that comes and go. So could ya please explain why you were chasing it. ?"

" Oh- fine. Just, don't tounch my wing like that." Musical says, falling to the ground " Anyways, who would wan't a bug that eats everyone's food on the dining hall? No one, right? So Yeah. Simple explanation."

 

Thats actually a very good explanation, in my opinion. And thats actually one of the reasons.

Shadow let go of the wing, bent down, and said as he reached into a portal

"Then care to explain how it got in without me knowing about it, so should I have a small friend say hi to ya."

 

Feeder was in his office and then he realized what he has done. He said as he ran to the enchanting class, 

"Why did I ask him to ask the student. He will probably scare him half to death."

He stood up and began walking toward the portal in attempt to follow. Seeing the portal close, he snorted and exited through the front door.

Deciding he was free to do what he pleased, Indus began wandering the campus for something to pass the time. Shadow seemed sure that he had the situation under control, so why should he impose?

 

In his travels, he managed to find the school's library. His eyebrows raised with curiosity; maybe he could find an interesting read?

 

He entered the large library and began having a look around for sections to pique his intrigue.
